I got to meet and hand out for an entire night into early morning back in 1991 its a involved story to long to tell but I have a great Memory of him . I find him to be very interesting as I have grown older as a songwriter he should be inducted into their HOF he was a great song writer . In the 90's and especially 2000,s up until his death he seemed so wounded by the business he loved and gave as much as he could to . He died young but had a great Life for the most part a natural singer with great stage presence ! Watch the Lafayette La. Concert that aired on MTV back in the good old days this was the whole band and Jani at their very best , I watch it when I'm i a shitty mood and Im a guitarist who's more into Metal but enjoyed Warrant and other Glam bands from the 80,s these guys were always ready to play and give it their all. RIP Jani Thanks for a fun time . Open the Bar for my friends I will pay for it before I check out tomorrow . Jani's words in my story lol

I LOVE this song... I love the pay per view version because he says my name right before they sing this... I LOVE JANI & his melodic voice... It's soothing really.. BUT....and YES there is a BUT... I think what really makes this song, is the Harmony achieved by him & Steven Sweet... No one really talks about how good a singer Steven was/Still is... In fact! I REALLY WISH they would have brought Steven out from the Drums to front Warrant instead of the guy they have. It would be different but STILL WARRANT & I think fans Wouldnt have taken the "Replacement" so bad. Regardless the 2 together MAGICAL, TRULY! R. I. P. Jani Sweetheart YOU are MISSED! ♥ KYGIRLUSA!

Heard an interview with their producer who said that the guitarist were not goo at coming up with great leads so they had another guitarist come in and do the leads on every song and then this guitarist would teach them the solos to play live on tour. They were great at coming up with great riffs and rythmns but lacked originality on lead solos

To their credit, they were very professional about it and understood it was about what was good for the song. Most guitarist egos prob couldn't handle that.
