This song is proof that the record company had NO FUCKING IDEA what a great song sounded like!
@javtimestwo10 жыл бұрын
You have no idea my friend. Are you telling me this song is better than "Heaven", "Sometimes She Cries", "I Saw Red", etc... I think not and the Billboard 100 charts will also tell you differently. IMO, this song is ok at best. The melody is not very good and the music is bland at best.
@r8tedRsuperstar9 жыл бұрын
Javy C Yeah and you know any better? You are just a typical follower of the media. Whatever they say is a good song for a band, you hop on the band wagon and follow them like sheep. Jani Lane has so many hidden jems that are far better than Heaven, I saw red, and the other radio or Billboard hits. Do you know Warrant had no say so on what songs were played on the radio? Had it been their way, those songs on your holy billboard would have never made it.
@jay70669 жыл бұрын
Rooney Borah You are so right! Jani was very open about the fact that he wanted Warrant to be a true metal band. He wrote 'cherry pie' in 15 minutes. But I believe we will all agree that their talent was never in question. Just wish we still had Jani here to make some new material.
@javtimestwo9 жыл бұрын
Rooney-What are you talking about? If, if and another if. Warrant was no different than any other band that was just starting out. The record company calls the shots until the band earns the right to call the shots. I know very much how the record business works. The original debate was which song was better? I'm sorry but this song is not superior to the songs that made in on the albums. Jani was an incredible talent but he had to play the game just like everybody else in the business
@r8tedRsuperstar9 жыл бұрын
Javy C The main reason YOU don't think its better, is taste. This song never made it to the Billboard. But, had this song received the airtime on radio and MTV, it would have been a huge hit and made it to the top or damn well near it.. It would've been on all the "Monster Ballad" Compilation Cd's. I personally think its better. But that's just me. I loved all the other ones as well. But for me, its the hidden gems on an album that count.
