Big Jani Lane fan here. I am still disappointed and sad with the way he went out. I gave Robert a hard time in the beginning. No longer. He is performing these songs at a high level. The band is really playing at a high level. I am enjoying this era. Still miss Jani when he was at least decent but his voice was all but destroyed at the end. Hearing Robert hit these notes and work as hard as he is working is pleasing. Rock on down boys….It would be nice to make mention of Jani on occasion. To be playing the entire set of original Warrant knowing he wrote the vast majority of all the songs and a hired guitarist played on DRFSR would make me eternally grateful. I would give respect during each show. Of course I was not on the receiving end of his shenanigans.

You should've seen them live the decades ago when Robert was still in his prime. This video doesn't do justice. He's not in his prime anymore, just as Jani was during his last years. I'd say warrant did fine moving forward without Jani unlike Linkin Park and Hinder. Those two bands that I grew up turned into bleeding my ears out.

Sucks he's gone, but he lives everytime they play the songs he wrote. They were all once friends and "brothers". His spirit feeds all the surviving band and crew. Robert doesnt do it for me either as their singer btw.
