@Mr. Common sense my great grandfather was a Greek who died fighting the fascists in Europe, postponing the nazi military expansionist campaign by 2 months forcing the nazis to fight the Russians in the winter which ultimately what defeated them. So that puts me and my family on the left, and on the right side of history. Being Greek I have a natural distaste for fascism no matter what century I'm in, it's just in my blood. Furthermore, the identity politics that you subscribe to are what's destroying this country, everyone knows that the only party proposing any kind of solutions in Congress are coming from the left, not the Christian fascist right.

Short term US may win but long term china wins if US really sticks to these Tariffs. What do you want China to buy? You place military imbargo, space imbargo,, ban chips for china etc. I mean those first two fields alone could make up for the alleged trade deficit. You can't force someone to buy something they dont need. China will never bow to Trump and his cronies

4:48 W.buffet was ask what he think as to who pays the tariff. W.Buffet: they are tax on consumers and as such it changes WHAT people buy and it changes WHERE things are produced. You can readjust the world thru tariff.... a world that adjust to a something very close to a free trade more people will live better than in a world with significant tariff. Buying CHINESE PRODUCTS (w/ few exceptions) AND PRODUCING IN CHINA (w/ few exceptions) doesn't help American manufacturers and their employees.

She asks if they are concerned about ripples in the market, and (shocker !) 3 multibillionaires aren't worried ! Would you be in their positions ? Gates is a good monopolist, that's all. He followed the IBM model and used it against IBM with Microsoft. Not a visionary bone in his body. Buffett and Munger are brilliant, but they ave their interests. Think any owner of multinational businesses is going to say anything harsh about China ? Of course not, their job is to make their business successful. During the primaries, Bush tried to paint Trump as a closet Democrat by pointing to his attending Clinton functions and giving money to Democrats. Trump was very direct and honest answering, he pointed out that his job then was his business and he got along with all politicians to make the business successful. Buffett talked about what's the best outcome for everyone, but really misses the point (and I'm a fan). Trump's job now is NOT, repeat NOT "to do what's best for everyone". He said it constantly, and it's his job - "America First". That doesn't mean some race or ethnicity or gender, that is just simply to do the job of president, to be our advocate, for all of us, to get the best resolution for all of us in this country. Period.

@Candice Zhang So, people telling you nothing is wisdom? Yes, let not tell how we feel or tell the truth so we don't hurt anyone, let's just pretend everything is great so we don't hurt either side. In the west we like people to say their opinions and have a healthy debate about the subject, that's wisdom. Maybe if people in China said what they thought about the CCP and how corrupt it is, then maybe something would get done about the evil CCP. We have freedom of speech in America, if you don't like it then you can always move to China, so you can say nothing so you don't hurt anyone's feelings. That's why so many Chinese people want to live in the west because they hate China. In fact everyone hates China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Japan, Tibet, Russia and every country that borders on it. Even the Chinese hate China, if China was so great why would the Chinese people want to leave and go and live in the west?

These 3 business titans seems to be under tremendous pressure to support Trump's destructive tariff policy, despite knowing it is ridiculous. Thus, resulting in a very boring interview.

They do not want to talk about the trade war subject with China. They are optimistic and positive about China, but the narrator kept on asking them questions they aren’t excited about. Why do she kept emphasizing which side is right making the other side look terrible. She really want to make them say China is BAD America is good. Annoying questions.

The Sino-US trade war is actually Trump's opportunity to suppress China's 2025 strategy. The United States is afraid that China will surpass the United States in the high-tech field and become the world hegemon, but the majority of Chinese do not think that China will soon surpass the United States! China’s science and technology level is at least 30 to 40 years old in the United States. Why do you American elites fear that China surpasses the United States?

@@迈克格林 "Why do you American elites fear that China surpasses the United States?" Unfortunately Israel will be the tech capital, not China. Intel, Nvidia, Microsoft and more are pouring into Israel. China is just cheap labor to make what others design.
