FIRST OF ALL...THIS BAND IS AMAZING! Second...Thank you, KEXP, for continually blowing my mind with kickass bands. I used to have my finger on the pulse of the latest, greatest, and often obscure music. But I have been overwhelmed with being a single mom for the last 17 years, and I just slowly grew too exhausted and poor to go seek out the music...but YOU have really delivered it right to me!

The range and notes this singer is shooting for stick. Slips, flats, sharps, don't hear any, this is brave! She attains her reach! Quite athletic, her voice!! You never know where a solid voice is hiding...in a sports jersey! The band is tight, it's all just yummy, no slop in sight!!

This first song is cool. Has a familiar doo wop ballad feel but, instead of 6/4, it's 5/4 so it feels a little unfamiliar too.
