Legendary fight yam I was in hull jail at the time and Cheers for the mention yammy, I think people get confused with the street prison and boxing ring. Paul sykes fought for the British title and he was no doubt a hard man but boxing is art, strategy, preparation , game plan for the most part. Fighting in prison or the street is violence and I don’t think many men was accustomed to the level of violence slaney was. Size never mattered with Warren people who know know. Good video mate

One thing I've noticed with the prison stories is all the normal inmates are falsed to fights in the cell, or showers trying to hide from the guards. But all the top guys, the big fighters seem to have the fights in the open. Slaney being no exception, no wonder they've lasted so long in Cat As!!!
