I've been in Sarandë three times already. Me and my better half is staying in sarandë for 3 months in April. It's a nice place 😊

I enjoy seeing any information online about Saranda. I love it there. Spent about 14 months in two stretches during the pandemic (winters 20/21 and 21/22) I lived high on the hog and rarely broke 1200 a month. I know now things have changed and prices have gone up. Still one of the best deals going, especially October through May. Cant wait to get back!

Thanks for this video. We had just watched it a couple of days ago and just arrived in Saranda and our first full day here today we walked into a restaurant and came across Jess (well we recognized Nike first actually!) and her camera shy hubby. Being a Kiwi myself it was an especially nice way to enjoy our first day here! Had to get photos of course ...

Great video, I'm from nz too so was extra interesting. I relate to her relaxed take on Healthcare, as it's free here in NZ it's definitely not something we worry about like Americans do.

Good information and nice to hear that other people watch the nomad catalyst… I could not quite understand the speech when it was mentioned where the nomad capitalist Andrew Henderson, and you both have property… I might be interested in buying property there as well if you might divulge that info in writing so I can understand it… I’m a little hard of hearing well I’m kind of a lot hard of hearing… lol

You need to ask these people you interview exactly where they rent from and which websites they use b/c when I look, the apartment and houses are higher than what they say.
@WarrenJulieTravel8 ай бұрын
I hate to say this, but you’re not paying close attention. We already told you it was AirBnB, I also told you in the video to put in a maximum amount to rent in your filter., I also provided screenshot of searches I did yesterday before posting the video with available properties on the map. I did all of these steps, because we inevitably get a comment like this.

Sarandë has seasons where prices fluctuate quite a lot. I think August is the most expensive time . If you go off season, you can get way cheaper rentals.

Hi guys, curious if you considered Albanian as your base instead of Montenegro and the reason you chose Montenegro. Thanks
@WarrenJulieTravel3 ай бұрын
We chose Montenegro in 2016 after researching the best options for residency in a non-Schengen country beginning in 2013. We had already purchased our home prior to visiting Albania, but for us Montenegro ticked more of our boxes. In 2016, the residency program was perfect for us, but they made a drastic change in 2019.

Can you share the cities in Albania you stayed in so we can research for a 3 month visit next month? Price range for rentals.

Sarande The cost of rentals depends on the time of year. Summers are very expensive.

Ten bucks @ plate for that kind of food isn't that affordable. I believe claims that some countries are more cheap are very often Istanbul shit.

Three years ago I would have agreed with you. Unfortunately, life is very expensive now nearly everywhere. There are sandwich options and gyros etc for $5 and under, but sadly prices are increasing across the world.
@Mulmgott4 ай бұрын
Saranda is also more expensive in general since it is a touristy spot. Go inland and prices drop drastically. Most Albanians probably live on 250-300 Euros a month.
