Warriors BUFFED in Season 2 + New animations for Arms - My Thoughts!

Armor breaking animation is fine, but the weapons spawning and falling on each targets make no sense and is completely over the top. I prefered the old animation where the ground just shatters.

Warriors tuning philosophy should always be "Bring a warrior for the damage, because they bring 0 utility" As soon as warrior is not doing great damage, it is a dead class in the eyes of the community. Start of S1 Fury was so so so good, it felt amazing being a warrior, but they squashed that fun asap. Rerolled as soon as those nerfs came in.

Same. I actually did not plan to main warr in S1, but then I got baited by the initial good performance and then regreted that a lot. For S2 I won´t take any chances and will be rolling paladin, that will be OP no matter what.

I swapped from warrior to shaman and my life significantly improved, the other players invite me to be in their group! I can do things to help my team! They should consider adding some useful spells to warrior so they get invited to groups, like maybe battle shout is 7% in non raid groups or something.

Swapping to enhance this patch has been such an eye opener of how far behind warrior feels in terms of identity when a class/spec gets constantly updated. Enhance just feels lightyears ahead of warrior (not only in damage but just how good it feels to play). Maybe bringing back frothing berserker from legion would fit more in line with the current warrior. That is if during Reckless Abandon ur kind of meant to overcap on fury before rampaging, it wouldn't feel TOO bad overcapping on fury if u got the buff for reaching 100 rage. Also that new warbreaker/colossus smash animation is fucking awful, especially warbreaker. The Icon for the ability literally shows us shattering the earth, why can't we get some cool little unique earthquake animation? Idk looks like im still just maining enhance lmao

You know what? I very briefly read the description of the animations and immediately remembered the animation from Devastate in wotlk. I thought it was gonna be something like that, where the weapon actually breaks the armor itself. I would love for that specific animation to make it back into the game

Could have made the warbreaker animation similar to Demolish (obviously faster because there's no cast time), then have the weapons go onto the target. Same thing as colossus smash. I mean the name of the ability is the same as the hero talent tree lol. I'm really hoping they take another look at colossus as well. It feels like they just gave up on it.

What if they changed RA to be that during Reck, you get the current live RA? That way you are still incentivised to press Rampage during Reck as much as possible, to trigger RA. Would obviously need numbers tuning but just gameplay wise I think that would be fun and make the gameplay loop feel correct, right?

imo sweeping strikes need to activate after cleave for X seconds, otherwise it is jst a dead global to press & having 4x Damage CDs feels tarded ( if macro them is the solution whats the point of 4 cds) AND they could REALLY go Crazy on Arms Warrior with those Channel Abilities like a Fully Charged Warbreake hitting bigger AoE n dmg - all specs feel a bit dated

Anger management is an easy fix, it isnt desirable because without Reckless Abandon fury cds are pretty mid, at best. Either make reckless abandon a baseline thing to juice up recledsness or find some other way to make recklessness desired again and then AM will be useful.

The ground slam animation was super fine, add the armor break visual why not, but please nothing more on the ground... Imagine a raid situation with mass aoe, like ovinax... it is already very hard to see what's happening on the ground and see every puddles, imagine if there are those stupidly big and flashy visuals on top of everything... it would just make watching our feet a lot harder for no real reason... Yes we are warriors, yes we are small brained, but more flashy things isn't what we care about... we care about efficiency et visualy hard hitting abilities like the condemn animation wich is now the basic execute animation... nothing too fancy, but you FEEL the hit without over encumbering things on your screen. The sparkles are for all other classes. (but give us back our class hall and the way to exit it Kratos style... THAT was badass!!!)

The cool thing about warrior in terms of fantasy is not using magic or anything like that in order to overcome adversity. The flashiness of the new warbreaker looks like something you'd see a Sentinel in WC3:TFT do. Really, really not great. CS is alright though. Hope the tuning works out. And I really just hope we get a true, honest to goodness rework one of these days. I remember in DF ret paladin was down bad. It got a rework which gave it always accessible and relevant utility, frequent cooldowns, and an adaptive tree which can do decent aoe and single target without sacrificing too much of either one. It is truly a jack of all trades, and it has lead to it being one of the most well-represented and popular specs in the game. It isn't rocket science to see the connection there. Hope blizzard makes similar effort with a proper warrior rework.

I think demolish is the most fun warrior build but the buildup is too long, the cast time is too long, and the buff time is too short so that it doesn't last between packs at times. It's not like it's a permanently scaling buff like the paladin 2 set, it's not going to break anything if the buff lasts say 30 seconds. Warrios do indeed bring the last to a 5 man group these days and as such I feel their dmg should be at least 5% higher than every other class. That still won't warrant bringing them to the mdi or make them met but what it will do is make the warrior community happy for the most part I think.

Blizzard finds new and imaginative ways to stomp on the warriors. They should either make a complete rework or just simply make the whirlwind cleave to hit all targets in 6-8 yards range for 30% with reduced dmg above 5 targets. P.S. : The only way to make AM viable is to bring back the old Unbridled Ferocity.
