It honestly feels like Zelda's just randomly throwing out different runes at her opponent hoping to god they might work and they, by random chance, just happen to synergize perfectly. like, I can just hear her yelling "Random Bullshit!!! GO!!!!!!" and I love that.

I love that you are doing guides on the unconventional characters for Age of Calamity first! It gives me brand new appreciation for how good the characters really are. I hope in the future you do a guide on the final secret character soon. I struggle trying to bring out his full potential and want to see how you use him.
@wesnohathas1993 Жыл бұрын
Super late, but after these guides I'm pleasantly surprised by how well-balanced the roster is in this game. Some of them have way higher or lower skill gates than others, but played to their fullest, almost every character gets a chance to really shine and has some niche they excel in.

I was literally thinking yesterday "If he continues the trend of making guides for the most confusing characters he should do Zelda next." I'm expecting Khoga next now!
@raarasunai48964 жыл бұрын
I’m sure our video maker can give more info than I can in text form, but the basic best way to use Kogha is use his 3y strong where he makes a copy of himself, and follow up with Stasis. The combo gives him about 90% stress, while stasis is about 50. Be ready to tap ZR as he flies forward, cause if you miss the timing, he’s in a tantrum. You can also use 4y strong t do the ball roll. The few seconds where it is a Spiked ball do a lot of damage, and it seems to expose weak point gauges every time it poofs to the next size(even on Lynels) just nite that once he goes under the ball, he will be max stress, and the Banana Shield does not last longer by enough to block this, so you must ZR immediately upon exiting. His ZR at max stress will, without fail, expose weak point gauges and stun lock until finish, as well as making him 100% invulnerable until it’s finished.

Sorry I'm super late, I think it's really interesting how Zelda is basically the successor to Ravio from the origenal Hyrule Warriors, in them using the cast's shared items as their moveset. Each of her strong attacks also correlates to Ravio's respective one (ie C1 summons four ice pillars, C3 rolls a large bomb, ect.)

Once you're done with the character guides can you do guides on more of the mechanics of the game itself like how to efficiently use the blacksmith and what types of weapons should we keep vs which ones we should just sell? That's honestly one of the most confusing aspects of this game to me is the weapon system and how to get more weapons, how to get good quality weapons etc. I feel like the original Hyrule Warriors was incredibly simple and easy to understand but this one has extra steps in it that really confuse me

Great guide! I think you're underselling how powerful her basic attacks counting as runes is. Most characters can't do a Sheikah rune weak point exposure and immediately follow up with Stasis. Only Sheikah Slate Zelda is capable of doing that (or at least she's the only one I'm aware of being able to do so). This plus the super charged magnesis rune makes her the queen of exposing weak point gauges in my experience. Also, taluses are hilariously easy with this kit. Zelda can send out so many bombs that you can trivially keep them stun locked by blowing up their "arms." Often, you can blow up both and get them fully stunned if you combine her remote bomb and C3.

Zelda is easily one of my favorites, because she fits into my favorite overall warriors-playstyle, which I refer to as a "detonator"; characters centered around leaving behind something with their attacks, whether an object, status effect, or whatever, and then activating some ability at their location with the push of a button. Very technical characters to get the absolute most out of. Other examples I know of include Lana (tome) from the first Hyrule Warriors, Nami from Pirate Warriors 3, and Xun Yu from Warriors Orochi 4

I haven’t watched this all the way through so I’m not positive of this is mentioned in this video, but Zelda can trap The giant talus monsters in an infinite chain with her bomb combo, spamming it will always break both arms of the talus forcing it to fall and expose its weak point, at which point you can either rinse and repeat or stasis it for some extra damage time

So funny story, my R button was *broken* when I first started playing the game. Eventually I got a new controller, but that little thing with Zelda's normal attacks having the same power as Cryonis and Stasis made her the only character where I could reliably play without having to use the Sheikah slate because I was able to exploit counters. In most cases I would rebind R to ZR and vice versa depending on how important it was for the character to have ZR, so I'd bind Impa to ZR and Link to R for example because shooting arrows, while helpful, isn't as good as Stasis. Zelda was the one character where I didn't need to constantly rebind my controllers, so I've got a soft spot for the slate moveset.
