Join us for our Warsaw travel guide as we cover the top 25 things to do in Poland's capital city including unique attractions, tasty local eats and distinct neighbourhoods worth exploring. The following video will highlight 25 things to do in Warsaw and give you a glimpse into this up and coming capital.

25 Things to do in Warsaw, Poland | Top Attractions Tourism Guide Video Transcript:
Well hello and welcome to Warszawa. This week we are exploring the Polish capital. We've already been here a few days and it has been amazing. It has been such a pleasant surprise and unlike any part of Europe we've traveled in so far. So yeah, this week we're going to be highlighting 25 things to do around the city and we're excited to show you what it is all about.
We came to Warsaw with little to no expectations and the city completely surprised us. Our week in the capital was spent sampling Polish cuisine, learning about the city's past through museums and historical tours, and also dabbling in a bit of the nightlife. Warsaw is quickly rising through the ranks and we think it won't be long before travellers are flocking en masse. So if you're planning a trip to Poland, don't skip over the capital because there is more to Warsaw than meets the eye.
This is part of our Travel in Poland series. We're making a series of videos showcasing Polish culture, Polish arts, Polish foods, Polish religion, Polish cuisine and Polish people.
All photos and video taken by Samuel Jeffery (Nomadic Samuel) and Audrey Bergner (That Backpacker).

Thanks to this video you guys became pretty famous in Warsaw :) I love that you liked your trip and it is really nice to see that you were trully interested in our history and polish 'things' in general. I'm saing this because sometime tourists are ignoring the fact that Warsaw was completly destroyed during II world war and they are compering this city perhaps to Krakow were everything is original so compering is a little bit pointless. But I guess the fact the we rebuild our capital is also history, isn't it? Anyway it's a pleasure that we had guests like you, come again, check other cities, I'm sure you won't be disapointed :)

Thank you! That sounds like it should be more than enough. To be honest whatever you can save on accomodation will really help as will eating at local milk bars and doing some self-catering (groceries are very reasonably priced) as opposed to eating out for every meal. Also, take advantage of public transportation to get around.

I was missing few things here that are very typical for Warsaw and make this place unique. I recommend going to a Klubokawiarnia type of place with hookahs. That is definitely something very popular in the capital. Also I would try some of the shots bars with vodka only. I can't imagine visiting Poland without drinking vodka. Nowadays parties at Vistula river in the night is where the whole city nightlife is. Taking a boat along the river is actually not very popular that is why there aren't that many options to rent one. For a more luxurious feel of the city, I would see Hotel Polonia, at least the lobby, Hotel Bristol (there is an amazing Afternoon tea on the weekends till 5 pm in Bar Kolumnowy which has a style of Art Deco - better than in Britain) or try Panorama Sky Bar in Marriott hotel, the highest hotel bar in Europe with an amazing view of the city. The bar is very stylish and New York style. There are also some fancy restaurants that are just breathtaking like the famous Belvedere in Lazienki Park or the less famous ones like Polish style Restauracja pod Gigantami or Izumi Sushi Bialy Kamien in an orangery.

If you want to go back in time I suggest you to visit Crakow ( a lot of history, Jewish area Kazimierz, Shindler's factory and one of the first capitals in Poland) Ojców ( many castles and caves), Biskupin museum (first settlement from VI-XI century), Toruń ( city of Nicolaus Copernicus), Gdańsk ( city of trade in the past). If you want to see beautiful landscapes or take rest go to Mazury ( forests and lakes), Pieniny (Mountain), Bieszczady (Mountain, wild nature), or chose one of 23 National Parks in Poland.

Thanks for making this video. I’m thinking about spending a couple weeks in Warsaw in October 2020 after a Russian Volga cruise. Can you please tell me what hotel you stayed at and did you like it? Do tour buses pick up from the hotel? What tours do you recommend ? I’d like to take tours that depart from Warsaw as well .. Chopin tours, Auswitz tours etc. Do people speak English there? Will it be hard to take taxis? Thanks so very much!!

It has been several years since we visited so I would check both airbnb for apartment rentals and booking dot com for hotels to see what offers better value. You can around on foot for many places and taxis should be easy enough to take. I'd recommend booking tours from the centre of town.

@samuelandaudrey

Thank you! Quite common to be honest. You can definitely find people working in the tourist sector (restaurants, etc) that speak English. Might take some effort as meat is quite common but it is a big city and you'll find veggie options for sure.

Bigos is a dish that consists with ingredients that previous customers couldn't consume. The cook and the waiter are watching through door`s window from kitchen to dining area and the waiter says to the cook: "Watch he is eating it". OK I`m only joking. In Poland we eat only fresh meals
