USC Dornsife Center for the Political Future (CPF) presents, in collaboration with POLITICO and Unite America, the annual Warschaw Conference on Practical Politics "Democracy on the Line? 2024 and Beyond" on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
CPF's annual Warschaw Conference brings together top experts from politics, government, media, and academia to explore the most pressing issues in America's political landscape. This year's conference explored themes relevant to the 2024 election, including analysis of the primaries, the upcoming general election, the growing prevalence of misinformation and disinformation in our politics, and election reforms.
Panel 1: Primary Colors
The conference began with welcome remarks from USC Dornsife Dean Amber D. Miller and CPF Co-Directors Bob Shrum and Mike Murphy. CPF Director Bob Shrum joined political and media experts, Chris Cadelago, Jane Coaston, John McConnell, and Carissa Joy Smith, for a conversation on the 2024 primary elections and its impact on the upcoming general election.
