Marvel needs to reshoot the whole movie w/o a script…again. What makes me laugh uncontrollably is it cost Disney $400M-450M to shoot Infinity War and Endgame before advertising. Here’s the best part; Captain America 4 has cost $400M+ to shoot, reshoot, reshoot some more and well, you get the picture. Anthony Mackie is a phenomenal actor and has made Falcon a household name but…. Sebastian Stan should have been anointed the new Captain America. We have all watched him grow as a BFF, to a Russian assassin, to a character who the fans love. It’s safe to say that Bucky has had the best redemption ark, and has grown from a sad and tormented past to the bad ass we see today

Marvel is never going to return to peak box office success. The secret sauce was the way they created their vision in the first phase and beyond. Perfect lead roles, iconic characters, and those tie ins that just had you hyped for the next movie. It was a one off experience. Once Endgame wrapped it up, they just lost direction. Bad scripts, bad acting, and now its all b tier heroes that no one gives a fuck about...not atleast on the levels of peak Cap or peak Avengers. IMO, theres no real stars in this that requires the enormous pull they want. And Harrison Ford is not the draw he used to be. Hes going for the money, not the writing. I'm target audience. I was a big reader, massive MCU fan back when it meant something. They had so many good comics to go with and they even messed up Secret Invasion. The fact that none of it really matters anymore just shows how the first few phases worked so well.

The hate for Sam Wilson is so weird, and frankly wreaks of just racism. And trust me I didn’t want to put it that way but it’s the only thing that makes sense. The Falcon show was literally about him not feeling worthy of the mantle, and eventually shouldering the responsibility of the title, so the argument that he hasn’t earned it yet doesn’t hold weight. We love Bucky as a character, but half of his arch he was a villain. If anything he is still redeeming himself. Sam as a character in the MCU, has always been by Steve Roger’s side and so it really isn’t that much of a pivot to have given him the mantle And… Anthony Mackie is actually a great actor. @DMO780 I've been saying this too for a while now. That's how racism works. It's fine if all of the villains are not white, but a leading hero that isn't white is going too far. Of course I haven't seen what they cut out, but I'll bet you they've cut the scene where Sam tells gives orders to white subordinate characters. We won't be seeing any white people saluting him and saying, "Sir, Yes Sir". That burns them up. Remember in the first cut of Ant-man, Kang defeats Scott, and they changed that all around. How is it possible for Scott Lang to defeat Kang - a black Kang. In the comics and animated show, Kang wipes the floor with the Avengers. Just wait to you see what kind of a clown they make of Wonder Man. That's going to be a joke. They diminish these black male characters every chance they get. This is also why they can't make the Blade movie. Mahersala Ali has script approval, and he isn't playing that game. I think African-American actors are shying away from Disney altogether .

Race is a deflection. It is shallow to make it about race when the clearly isn't the reason. Sam is not interesting as a character in the MCU. He was not built up to be a lead character over the course of his performances. He was a 2nd bill character. He is not Cap's equivalent in any way, shape or form. Hell, in the MCU, he couldn't even beat Rumlow, the Skull smashers and the Dora Milaje in FAWS, and would have lost to Batroc in had it not been for his tech. He is essentially a 2nd rate Ironman with wings and without the money.

Captain America (1990) was 97 minutes. @humanwarnings1 weren't watching too close. He was snapped away, but right before we see the sparkle circles, we hear his voice just as Steve is at the breaking point. "On your left" we hear Sam say. Which is a call back to the opening of Winter Soldier. Sam is the first hero returned along with Dr Strange. He comes swooping in across the screen. But you can't remember that? It's a big moment. He's all over the opening sequence in Civil War as well, but remember his suit is property of the US Military. It isn't until Bucky gets Shari to make him a suit in Wakanda that he's able to be independent. This happens at the end of Falcon & Winter Soldier. Guess you're not watching that.
