Trying not to be pessimistic but Marvel is dead and they have emptied an entire magazine into their foot to make sure they cant recover. There greatest hope for redemption was creating a new "anchor" character around Reed Richards and centering the next 10 years of Marvel around him and Dr.Doom (ideally played by someone like Cillian Murphy). i mean their into movie basically writes itself as Richards buys the Stark Tower (cant do that anymore, thanks Velentina) and his family comes to terms with a new world that is being rocked without the Avengers so they rise to take responsibility. there's your movie and a new age of marvel movies led by F4 and some X-men side movies

After core characters such as Iron Man, Cap, and the Widow were gone, the Avengers storyline needed to end. Then, Chadwick's death. There is no coming back for that storyline; they are just going to keep pushing flops!! The X-men and F4 were the perfect place to give audiences something fresh and new age. I feel like John Krasinski would have made a great Mr. Fantastic, and Liam Hemsworth or AJ Apa would have made a great Johnny Storm. I looked up the cast for Fantastic 4 2025 and I didn't like the line up especially Pedro as Mr. Fantastic. Looks like a flop already!!

I remember back in 2022 when the leak grifters were trying to hype up this movie and making it look like a mess. It was a Hulk movie. Then, an X-Men movie. And finally, an Avengers movie. It was anything but a Captain America movie. You could argue that Civil War was Avengers 2.5 what with Iron Man, Ant-Man, Black Panther and Spider-Man turning up. But despite the crossover, it was still Steve's movie. It was a story about him protecting Bucky, his best friend, and only link to the past he has left, from the world. He didn’t care who stood in his way, whether it was the law, his friends, or the government. Brave New World, on the other hand? It feels like Disney knows that Sam has been rejected as Cap, so they're shoehorning everyone in for the sake of fanservice.

Those comics were made under Disney ownership. It was an Era where they were attempting to replace Marvel's core characters so that they could have an excuse to replace them when their MCU actor's contracts expire. That's the only reason they did it. And that specific era of comics was one of Marvel's least popular eras.

While I agree Bucky should’ve just been the new Cap, at least this way Sam isn’t “left out” in their minds. The only good parts of F&WS was their personal struggles and their new partnership.
