You can use the Stylish Bow and use the Base attack which is a fire arrow and illuminate the area around you, it helps a lot if you want to minimize the amount of your using torches

Additional tip.. if u bring animal companions, they can see the enemies even without light. I brought 3 wolves and a boar with me

you can use Left Alt to highlight containers, resources etc., rather than mousing over everything

what level would you recommend for it ? I am lvl 5 so far.

it costs three cloth to make a torch, but I never seem to be able to find any cloth. Sometimes a bandit has some, that seems to be the major source. Any more tips on where to find cloth? You need cloth to make lots of things.

No need to block the npc. You can select what he will do. Attack-defend-flee. So here defend is a good option. He will not move and just attack to defend himsefl. To change this, clic on the first icon on his skillbar

@@04AMofficial 600h played on EA but i don't remember exactly how i managed npc 😅 i remember Septelle and her crit bonus before the nerf, i always putten her in safe place

Interesting guide... I didnt like the fighting in the dark, I never tried a fight in the tomb...^^ After this guide, Ill give it a try :D (10 lvl 8 merchs, so no beginner squad^^)

Honestly, I think the Ruins are the best part of the game. It isn't "go here, defeat this mob", it's an actual dungeon crawl. If the game could add more variety to the ruins' fights, like adding cave bears and giant spiders or something, that'd be fun. Better yet, create something similar for a castle; in the SW region we are mercenaries hired to... diplomatically resolve a dispute between two castles, yet where the castle fight? And while we are at it, I'd like to remind the developers of Gotz of the Ironhand, a mercenary who, aside from having a prosthetic iron hand, took over a castle to extort merchants and invented the phrase "kiss my ass", so if as a reward in one county we get a small keep to manage...

How do you know, if the tomb is "finished"?

The game considers it finished when you break the sarcophagus and take the "big treasure", usually behind the rune locked door. You can miss some things though, so be thorough in your exploration (for example, 4AM missed one of the explorers. If you find all three you get a small reward from the woman and also you get to loot all of them).
