I'll admit I'm childhood-trauma-pilled saying this but Cage still creeps me out because of his voice acting. He's just SEETHING with hatred and it brings him up one whole letter grade for me. This guy really made me fill my diaper as a kid.

I've always liked the concept of Cage; and I especially liked the voice delivery done by Joe Herschaft. But I don't like how the story was so bare-bones, leaving an empty hole for what could've been a bone-chilling story about having a serial killer actually feeling bad for his victims, even though he still does it. I kinda want to see him featured in the TV show somewhere down the line., I think it'd be cool. And the AI voice I used for him now sounds 100% accurate, so you can bet I'm probably gonna re-do his entire story at some point. Still, Cage is a fun character for interpretation/storytelling, though I can agree on playing as Warthog in TMB isn't so fun. It's unfortunate, cause the vehicle design is actually pretty cool and can alone have its own disturbing backstory, since it's literally a family station wagon strapped to some military treads. But playing as the fkn thing so much more to be desired lol.

To be fair... there's probably a very specific reason the story is bare bones; time constraints.

I love the "station wagon on tank treads" design for Warthog, so creative and cool compared to the usual Warthog Humvee design. The character Cage though, despite the idea of a crybaby killer being interesting, definitely reeks of time constraints. It would've been much better I think to have gotten an opening and middle cutscene to see why he is or what made him that way, among other details that would've fleshed him out more.

I'm just surprised that the TM:B Outlaw car was supposed to be the Warthog car. It all makes sense now why Outlaw and Warthog were so different in this iteration.

I still consider Warthog in this game to be my favorite vehicle not only in this game, but the entire series. I love the design of the car and and he's just so fun to play, he has really good speed and handling for a heavy car imo. Yeah the special is hard to use but I'm a sucker for Flamethrowers so it's a-ok with me. Cage is a copy paste of ST but to me he's ridiculous in a gold way.

I'm not a fan of this Warthog, I preferred him as the Humvee, just like Minion in this game I wasn't a fan of either, rather have the tank. This Warthog was originally going to be a new character called White Knight and the body was a mockery of TM4 i think of General Warthog with The Joneses. I just think he would have been better just as White Knight.

This is the same vehicle as in 2012. How come his Flamethrower special wasn’t carried over in 2012 as a secondary special. Instead we get HammerHeads special ability only.

@@leanarchista133 Yup, emulators are free but you might need a good pc setup to run it properly. PS2 emulators are unevenly optimized.

Ngl, Cage showcases the biggest problem with TMB's writing: shallow, one-directional, without much personality. Whereas Needles is portrayed as this "I must kill" character with nothing else in his mind but death, you are introduced to Cage who seems like a more complex character... and that's about it, because he doesn't have an intro nor a middle cutscene, and all you get is a shitty ending. A real shame. Fun fact: this was never supposed to be Warthog, and his original name was "White Knight", driven by "Marv" or "Marvin". I don't know why they changed it to Warthog and Cage, probably to have some more classic characters returning.
