𝓜𝓸𝓷𝓴𝓮 That's cool and all but do you know why are memes getting dark? The answer is really simple. Memes are a reflection of the collective psychology of internet users. The reason memes are getting like that is because we're becoming like that. People are losing their minds. Our civilization is on several bad trends and life within it is becoming more and more intolerable. The terrifying thing is that the majority of people I know are on some amount of antidepressants. That shouldn't be the case. That's not normal. We all know deep down that our way of life is not healthy and is probably sending us all to hell, but we just use coping mechanisms and keep going as if this is how we're supposed to live. The only people "doing something" about it are just going around looting and burning, while turning to tyrannical political ideologies to run their lives for them. People only seem to have three options: spiral into despair and end it all, get angry and tear everything down around you, or live in an ever shrinking dream word of empty comforts and distractions. It's not a mystery why memes are getting dark and insane. We're getting dark and insane. And we don't have too much time left untill the great collapse. Approximately 20 years.
