I love playing with the Black Prince so much in-game. Incredibly heavily armoured. Armed with the famous 17-pdr for exceptional lethality, and superb gun handling that allows you to both go hull down, and to fight in urban conditions where the quick reload and super high pen mean no enemy is exempt from your barrage of shots. The Black Prince to date is the only tank I bring full ammo in as the variety of APDS, APCBC, HE and Smoke allow you to do every task expected of you without worry, firing at every target you spot with pin-point accuracy. It's also the first tank I got a nuke in. Which only shows how despite its slow forward speed, the thing is an unrivaled menace.

Its ashame gaijin aren't skilled enough to model challenger 2 TES and OES add-on armour kit properly . Like how hard is it to change the aluminium backplate to 40mm and 80mm RHA along with 200mm VAMAR NERA blocks with ASPRO-HMT blocks attached on to the VAMAR blocks. If this was modelled correctly with its actually armour protection ifvs wouldn't be able to pen chally from the side's with any of there auto cannon's are tandem atgms it would give challenger 2 a really great and historically accurate survivability buff !!

And now that they have seen the classified documents they can't use the info even if someone finds public versions of the info on it because they can still be accused of using the classified version as the source. You will not see any changes to the challenger armour, at least the leaked areas, until the docs Gaijin received are de-classified. Which is a shame as the Russians published a very detailed video of the front and inside of a Challenger 2 turret in Kursk back in Oct. you will have to look on other platforms for it though, as KZbin suppresses anything that isn't rabidly pro Ukraine.

I hate seeing the Excelsior, it's one of my favourite all-time British tanks. It was a joint collaboration with the U.S to create a whole new category of tank. The British made the Excelsior, the U.S made the T14. The U.S tech tree enjoys that tank as a low-cost premium, while the Excelsior is yet another unique British vehicle that can only be bought off the marketplace, which way too many British premiums have to put up with.

The Sho’T is an absolute BEAST. The snail blessed me with it, I love the thing,while basically being a modified Centurion Mark 3, it’s a workhorse in its own right for me at 7.7, which is considered as one of the worst BRs. It’s undoubtedly a favorite of mine, and I thank Gaijin for giving such a good first MBT.

Yeah it had 152mm frontal armor - that was far, far from "impervious", the 88mm could penetrate this (both the 36 and 43 version) hell even the standard 75mm (Pak 40 and KWK tank mounted versions) could penetrate it when firing Panzergranate 40 from close distance. Not sure what they were thinking when they included that line, since its simply wrong. The only "impervious" frontal armor was the Jagdtiger which was, in history, never penetrated frontally.

Tiger Is, Panthers and even Tiger IIs struggle to pen it as geometry, angling and just complicating combat conditions increase the effective thickness beyond the statistical 152mm. And as opposed to other heavily armoured guns, the Black Prince has the firepower to more than effectively punch back. Providing rapid, accurate, and high-penning APDS to dispatch any enemy that attempts to shoot at it, no matter the range. The Black Prince is responsible for getting me my first nuke. A testament to its devastating potential as a moving fortress.

Even though you can’t use challenger 2 documents (so you say) can you at least make the Challenger 3 a block of composite? Make everything except for the rear and engine deck composite, including the roof. British tanks are known for their roof armor and also have composite addon plates for the front lower plate.
