Great video. I can really relate to these guys especially Ken Moon. Sometimes you feel as your calling is just beating the crap out of other people. Money is just a plus... On a unrelated note, I strangely find myself watching more VICE Japan than the U.S. VICE.

i don't know, US VICE has all those really weird reporters, like that american chinese dude who pisses in front of shops and smokes weed all the time or those odd feminie guys...

uetzel LOl haha, so true and there is that pot head that does all of the drug docs. >.
Thank you so much for this video! I knew PRIDE FC was the biggest MMA in Japan. It's good to see mma still alive in Japan. Plus I didn't really know Osaka is ghetto out there. That's new to me.

Anyone saying japanese fighter ain't shit: Let me point out one of the greatest Japanese fighters ever, he beat at that time the undefeated Royce Gracie. His name was Kazushi Sakuraba. "He [Kazushi Sakuraba] is known as the "Gracie Hunter" or the "Gracie Killer" due to his wins over four members of the famed Gracie family: Royler Gracie, Renzo Gracie, Ryan Gracie, and Royce Gracie. In particular, Sakuraba is famous for his initial fight with Royce, which lasted ninety minutes. Sakuraba is also the former UFC Japan Heavyweight Tournament Champion. Sakuraba is considered to be one of Japan's greatest mixed martial artists."

***** Genki Sudo, Kazushi the Gracie Killer, Yoshida, and a lot more.
Watching this i remember "Holyland" manga. I dunno but there is something special about this guys. For a street fighter or in the ring they`re quite approachable and respectful.

Exactly. Did u know the author himself used to Fight frequently??
Fight Club rules only apply to Americans. This is in Japan so different rules apply.

Nice video, for me there is explosion and a litle tecnique. But still nice to see.
More of this type of videos please. This two guy are the embodiment of badass.

These guys have no technique and would be destroyed by a trained, dedicated MMA fighter.

That's the whole point, they mentioned they liked to watch the street fighters. They don't want to watch MMA fights.

From what I've seen, I think the two guys being interviewed do have technique. The other guys that are shown fighting in the ring tho... really bad compared to the Muay Thai that I watch here on YT
The thing is thy talk about rules in the ring- but also talk as if it hasn't taken them away from street violence either. I have no problem with controlled violence if events like this can prove to reduce street fighting.
