Trivia: In the BBC adaptations of Narnia, Warwick Davis played 2 different characters. He played Reepicheep in Prince Caspian and Voyage of the Dawn Treader and Glimfeather in The Silver Chair.

He was a badass in that. The BBC version was the best. Low budget, no CG, and great acting and storytelling.

It's weird how No one has ever said (even Him) about this not being his first (or for that matter) second Narnia Film. The BBC version he played Reepicheep in both Prince Caspian and Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

the only thing that disappoints me is they never found a way to work him into the Lord Of The Rings films. hes in a lot of the Star Wars films, hes in the Harry Potter films, hes in the Narnia films as well as obviously many other things. if they had just found something for him in the LOTR films then he could retire happily as king of fantasy franchises.

Warwick did a fine job playing the treacherous Nikabrik, but I still say his and Dinklage's parts should have been reversed. This adaptation lost the humorous side of Trumpkin and made him seem much more dour and unfriendly than he is in the books, and I just couldn't see Dinklage playing the basically good-natured Trumpkin - he's much more suited to Nikabrik the misanthrope, but Warwick would have nailed the skeptical but good-natured dwarf Lewis created, and the lovably crotchety older version that shows up in The Silver Chair.
