Was lucky enough to see Abdullah in a jumping competition years ago here in NH. He was breathtaking. I am so glad I got to see him in the flesh.

how far forward did Nick sit? I watched this and when the female rider got on Apollo you could hear Nick say" he will take care of her" meaning there was no way she could handle the horse, she went clear and in one of Nick's rounds the horse refused at a fence.

that phrase usually means that the horse is safe for the person to ride, a good honest horse. But yeah this guy leans way over the neck *after* he lands, and he pulls on the horse's mouth a lot.

@@watchgoose that phrase meant, "she would not be able to handle the horse" Nick admitted so himself.......

If you read his book Apollo was the trickiest horse but her ride was worse! She rode without a care as she didn't think she had a chance but came first!
