All Warzone one needed was map rotations instead of just one map, and go back to modern guns. Add a ranked mode and the game was great. There really was no need at all for a second Warzone

I agree. But what was also bad in WZ1 was the integration of CW and Vanguard causing a lot of balancing issues. I mean it was not the plan to integrate the game in to Warzone, so absolutely OP Metas like DMR14, FFAR, Akimbo Diamatti or the hipfire PPSH kinda destroyed the game for some time .

For me the ability to master the movement and aim together and actually pull off a beautiful bunny hop snipe was the most addictive thing about MW1. it takes hours and hours of practice to get the movement mechanics down. I loved that it was difficult to perfect and gave a sense of accomplishment, not to mention everyone loves to watch a player solo quad a whole team with movement and skill, EVERYONE!!

Well said. I completely agree with JoeWoe and you. Warzone 1 was addictive because seeing yourself continually improve was addictive. Outplaying someone with movement and gunskill was addictive. Pulling off a crazy sniper with movement was addictive. I’ve barely played Warzone 2 since its release. I hear that Warzone 1 is back, so maybe I’ll jump online. This is my longest hiatus from the game since its inception back during the lockdowns.

In my opinion. They should have plunder as the mode for low skill casual players, like they did in wz1, and make some changes to the br. eg. custom perk packages. Plating and running, faster movement speed and several other things. I really enjoyed plunder as a casual experience when my friends weren’t online. And think they should bring it back sooner rather than later, it’s also a great mode for new player to get accustomed to the style and pacing of the game as well as get used to the new looting mechanics and map layout.

Faster running/sliding, run while plating, use pistol while dropping, custom perk packages, and fix stims. Also the money found on the ground should be increased, having buildings with mostly stacks of $100 in them makes getting money a chore unless you can do a contract. Lastly, part of the fun of warzone 1 was trying out different guns and finding one you like, right now it feels like you can only use RPK primary. It’s literally all I die to the whole season, super stale. They can’t just balance the game once a season… If they fix some of this stuff I’ll play more but as of right now I’m completely bored by the game.

You hit it right on the head, the worst part of Warzone 2 is it feels like there's no progression. There isn't a lot to work on to make yourself better. With how strong aim assist is now everyone pretty much shoots straight so the only thing left to get better at is maybe positioning and recoil control. They think this is what casual players want but in reality, what attracted people to these types of games in the first place was the competitiveness. I don't see this game making it past spring without MAJOR changes.

WZ1 for me Joe. I have no fun playing WZ2 😴 and also the Modern Warfare multiplayer mode. I really hope the new resurgence map incoming soon (if the rumours are true) make me love it, however, with the existing movement, I don't think it will save the game. It’s got huge potential, looks amazing, and can be fixed up nicely with a couple bigger updates as you stated. Looting needs to speed up drastically. The fact that the STUPID backpack system is purely designed for mouse and key baffles me. What’s that, 5% of player base now? Biggest complaint by far is the speed (or lack there of) of looting. The game will never speed up unles that is at least improved (I vote scrap it and go back to original) Carrying 3 guns with 47 self revives and 50 plates…? Why? Redeploys 🤷🏼‍♂️ Where hell did they go? TTK is still a joke. We could DOUBLE the TTK across the board, that sure as hell would help BIG time! Give us 250 base HP. Why the hell do we need to find a larger backpack and plate vest just to have a chance at winning gun fights? Again, all it does is slow the game down (Which is THE largest problem) Running while plating (still not a thing? I mean come on..) My game still crashes every single day. I’ve reinstalled more than once, same crap. The menus are still a joke and look like they were made by a 5 year old kid. The perk package dilemma (garbage) I get they wanted to TRY and put items like stims in the bathroom or hospital, gas at gas stations etc etc. Hey for DMZ, that’s an amazing idea! But for the BR? NO NO NO!! We want to hot drop, get a quick kill with a pistol, open a couple crates and be ready to rock. Having to go around searching for small piles of cash and basically play hide and go seek every damn drop. (Again, this is a fantastic idea, but keep that shit in DMZ) Trying to reinvent the wheel, when they had a fairly well tuned game as far as last season goes. Still love the game, just been playing MW2 over WZ until they finally revert some major settings. It’s nice to see demons like you making themselves heard as well. It just feels like a step back, seems like it was releases before Wz 1 to be honest, game is clunky and ultra slow, rather play something else atm until they fix the game, IF THEY WANNA FIX IT. The only thing I disagree with is the looting system being made for M&K players. As a M&K player (well, former, cba with WZ2), the looting is just as fucking annoying and has gotten me killed more than once. I miss being able to rapidly loot during a tense situation (like nabbing a stun off a loot pile during a 1s pause in a fight). I also hate the movement. Slide cancelled was actually skillful. The TTK is horrible. I just hate so much about WZ2 lol. Even in WZ1, so many updates were catered to the more casual playerbase and it constantly took a lot of skill gap. Which is really annoying because, well, what's the point of improving my gameplay if you're making it easier for someone who hasn't put as much effort in?

That's exactly how I feel. No more getting better at movement (slide canceling to bunny hopping etc) its just move left or right and aim. It's like telling boxers they can't duck and can only throw 3 different punches. So learning head movement, ducking, combos, foot work etc doesn't matter anymore. It feels more robotic. I've hardly played at all with warzone two. It's just annoying I can't get better at what I wanted to get better at.

Bunny hopping was originally a glitch and an exploit in Counterstrike but it was intentionally left in the game because the community loved it so much and it changed movement in online games forever. The only part about the slide canceling that was not intentional was the refreshing of the Tactical Sprint and they didn't even remove that because people loved it haha, it was only removed because towards the end of War Zone people started quitting. The slide canceling was absolutely intended, you were meant to be able to slide into a room and instantly cancel it and stand up. It was only unfair because console had a locked field-of-view at 80. All of this stems from the fact that the vast majority of people on this video games are just somebody sitting at home expecting to jump into a multiplayer game where everybody else has vastly more experience and they somehow expect to do good with less experience or they're going to literally uninstall the game. Most of these people literally just have to change their button layout

WZ (1 and 2) are not competitive games, period. They were not made to be balanced enough to establish a competitive scene around. Thats why all these tournaments are not sponsored by official esport companies. Most of the tournaments are not even LAN, and are kill race style contests. Dude this is exactly what we fucking need. This man had dedicated hours and knows what Warzone 2 is missing. There is no incentive to grind really, no opportunity for major skill development, and a lack of outplay-ability. I literally just want to start with 3 plate slots, ability to sprint and plate, and manage inventory while reloading. All other content that will be added soon does excite me.

There is almost no camera breaking in warzone 2. Play caldera if you want to break cameras. Nerf aim accuracy when jumping and transitioning stances in mw2.

Exactly! They're literally stopping the evolution of skill progression with FPS. I can speak for myself and say I've always played FPS but I didn't have any drive to get better until warzone. And now my aiming and overall understanding of movement is 100 times better than before. Warzone 2 is keeping the next group of people from leveling up their overall skill with FPS.

Warzone 1 movement abilities were cool but after a while it was sweat contest… I prefer casual style in 2.0 with slower pace: no plating and running, nor slide cancelling

Finally a pro said it. I was saying this from the begining. Its boring af. I wan to move around and increase the skill gap. Like in Apex or WZ1.
