Looking at your updated Tierlist, are leaped Stigmata and CW really stronger than Wanshi?

Wanshi is a decent character where stigmata and cw are better choice in ppc.

Wanshi is a free character, we can't rate him on the same level as Wata, Nanami, and Hanying. If I compare him with Stigmata and CW, both are better choices in PPC than him, so let him a little below them. Even though he is Gen 3 as a free character, he can't compare to Lamia, Stigmata, and CW. In Warzone each character serves the role of support, DPS, and second-dps/shred, each character is important the same. But in PPC, you can see who is the most selection, shining, and dominant in the endgame content. For example, with the debut of Wata, Hanying, and Nanami, they have replaced their attacker in PPC while Wanshi cannot. For other content like Babel, Norman, and Clash Reflection, there is just a farming bc/material stage, lacking challenge and nobody cares about dodging because of the broken of the gen 2-3 characters, so just whack!

Lucia is the top 1 Luna is also strong, she is a good choice for an off-element pain cage Qu is slightly lower than Lucia and Luna New Gen 3 characters such as Hanying or Wanshi can't surpass Qu yet, Nanami: Starlit is at almost the same level as Qu.

Lee is about 2/3 damage of wata Lee is no shred 25%(2s0 or 35% for 2s3 or 45% for 3s0 wata) Lee can't do twice rotation Lee slightly slower core rotation compare to wata. Lee lacking of time stop on his first ultimate. Lee is suffering from success 😂

I sadly do not have hyperreal. Im playing on global. Should I use one of my S selectors on Hyperreal or is watanabe also viable as a dps? I feel like hyperreal is not worth it since Lucia is coming out around mid 2025 to global.

Just get wata and run wata, liv, pulse/palefire and wait for lucia. Lee is not worth getting for f2p or low budget players at the moment.

Keep the RC reward S selection for attacker/tank is better such as Luna or Qu, you just have to wait for 2 patches but it can save your BC. By the way, if you plan to roll gacha for them at debut already, the better idea for RC reward S selection should go for... 1. character you missed 2. SS3/SSSing the attacker/tank. The meter to see who is a priority to invest in is the tier list sheets, the optimal way to build the team for beginners, see the team build sheet, this info is in the description. For your question, Empyrea > Kaleido because of the alternative choice for fire support is A:Sophia which is worst than A:Wanshi, if you don't have Kaleido you can use A:Wanshi which is not bad. But if you don't have Empyrea and using A:Sophia instead, this kinda bruhhhh moment because you have to pick her dropped orb on the ground to get the buff.

Wanta cannot solo, he is orb consuming character, you need to swap him out to regen the orb. The best solo character for tank is Hanying=Nanami > Wanshi(not smooth but can) For the attacker, they can solo since Stigmata, CW, Lamia and Pyroath. Qu is the worse choice for solo but can if you can master her and try hard but I would say, it's nightmare.
