I’ve looked at the Avalon leak and the bo4 blackout map, and compared them side by side. It has some of the poi from blackout map such as fracking tower, estates, train station, the farm area between firing range, and cargo docks. But also it has verdansk poi’s also

They did already say that 'Avalon' was a location that would be visited in the campaign. Maybe a 6v6 map is based on that location.

It could be all three things for all we know, campaign and resurgence map, with a section as a 6v6 map. Definitely a way for them to maximize development by reusing assets.

Raw ttk isn’t the only stat that matters. Sprint to fire, ads, movement etc also is important and factors into gunfights a ton

The wider waterway is definitely to promote the use of water vehicles which people have tended to stay away from because you’re typically driving them through pretty narrow waterways and just end up getting beamed

The thing that worries me if this comes to fruition is not water circles (although that does concern me. I don’t like the chance I’m going to have to rotate through water to get to the other side. That seems like it would become a chore after potentially having to do it so much. Then again it may also highly encourage early rotations. Who knows.

I feel like we will get a new map and get verdansk back as the two big maps on rotation finally. Then maybe another resurgence map for rotation as well. I dont see why not. The engine can handle it all now. Verdansk will bring hundreds of thousands back to the game too. Im so stoked for the months ahead and ready for it to be here already

I think the best map they could make wouldnt have much verticality but would have dense towns or favelas even. I think the finesse and outplay in those types lf places would maks for tons of outplay and finesse scenarios. They should keep water movement and shottingetc but stop making water play such a focus. Who plays warzone seriously and ever wants water end zones or cliffside end zones?
