Ashtray's death totally needed to happen. Even though it's heartbreaking, I believe it's gonna have a major impact on Fezco's character development

Yeah I feel for Fez. He’s going to be really lonely
@hyper99842 жыл бұрын
@@Zarakiiwii Do you think he'll be aquitted or at least have a lesser charge or sentence? It would be weird for a main character to just go to prison and be done with it
@Zarakiiwii2 жыл бұрын
@@hyper9984 if the show was realistic then I don’t see that happening, he didn’t kill Custer or mouse but he was still involved in both those murders, he’s still committed many crimes. I feel like the show put themselves in a tight spot because if he’s gone, people will lose a lot of interest, but if he’s released, that’s really unrealistic which can also make people lose interest. I feel like they might just make it a really interesting, drawn out and dramatic storyline with sentencing and not sure how it’ll end

Great video and If ashtray did live he would go down a bad path but he also could have had an arc that’s the opposite dealing with the grief or repercussions of murder and what it does to the psyche which could have been interesting to see but after a while he wouldn’t live as long

I would like to hear your comparison of Ashtray and Love bc I'm pretty sure Ashtray's killing style has the same impulsivity as her. Plus she kills to protect her family like him
@asseater00772 жыл бұрын
I’d agree. I feel like he’s more like Love than Joe.
@RandomUser365362 жыл бұрын
he would grow into a serial killer no doubt but Joe's entire character is that he saw his father beat his mother and his father terrorized him. He imprints his childhood trauma onto finding the "perfect" woman, willing to do anything he deems necessary to have or keep this woman. Ashtray would not have turned into Joe AT ALL.
@Zarakiiwii2 жыл бұрын
I see your point! The whole point was that he was showing behaviour of a mission oriented serial killer (type of killer Joe was). They don’t have that same trauma, so they would have different fixations, but same category of serial killer. They both feel a deep need to protect those they love by getting rid of any threats to the person they depend on/love. Mission-oriented serial killers have a need to protect from young ages and have the feeling that they’re obligated to eliminate those who are a threat. Joe grows deep, fixated obsessions on women that stemmed from issues with his mother, ashtrays focus could be a different fixation, but the bottom line is he was evolving into a mission oriented serial killer. he found it justifiable to rid the world of certain people, to protect the one he loves, and he did it aimlessly. I wouldn’t put it past him if he also killed people around a future woman/love interest out of “protection” for her too, or to better her life, similar to Joe. The route he was taking was a slippery slope, and he was just at the edge of evolving deeper into a serial killer

ashtray had an unwavering focal point on fez as a point of stability while Joe could shift to any woman at any given time with odd narcissism that all these women were the loves of his life, and goes off the deep end in what he believed was chivalrous killing... ashtray didn't have the chance to be a fully developed character ( one dimensional after season 1 with barely any speaking parts season 2) to realize any consequences of his actions to cause possible change. Could he have become a serial killer? Very possibly, or Fez could have put him in check to tone down his impulsive kill or be killed tendencies because of all the consequences of the murders.

I agree that he had to die and he literally killed 3 ppl before that police officer. Mouse, the guy that was with mouse, and Fey’s bf. The police officer was 4. I was so annoyed when he killed Feys bf bc he’s smart but acted on impulse and got everyone hurt.
