WrestlingsPremier I think was a decent ppv. I like all the match the only one I thought that was kinda stupid was Vince and Shane McMahon vs Shawn Michaels and god. Understandable since Vince thought Shawn Michaels won because of god and Vince in wwe is like the devil. Also it did lead to the dx reunion

For ECW you should talk about RAVEN. To me he was the best and had his best best matches in ecw however when he went to wwf/wwe he was underused and needed a push or at least get a championship besides the hardcore championship. Keep making great videos.

Maybe it’s because this was one of the first years I really got into wrestling (maybe 2004-2005 actually, I was very young), but I LOVED 2006. Mini Attitude Era I felt as well.

It was a good show. Just about every match was fine. However, I will say Smackdown was doing even better at the time. Rey Mysterio and Kurt Angle’s reigns with the World Heavyweight Championship, along with the roster at the time just made Smackdown feel like the better show. Raw got repetitive, especially making the McMahons the front and center focus of every episode and Pay Per View, whole SD! kept it original and continued pushing new stars and elevating Mid carders to Main Event level.

Match for match, it’s a great PPV up and down. As far as Vince “defeating” “God”, I don’t mind it cause that’s the whole point to the character. Anyone who hates that is a mark. Vince doesn’t actually believe that he can beat God but his character which is supposed to be the most self-absorbed asshole ever would believe it. Backlash 06 is fantastic and the main event match ranks among the best triple threat matches ever.
