Agrippa's Diary

Agrippa's Diary

Күн бұрын

A lens-grinding philosopher of Jewish descent, Spinoza's rationalistic interpretations of God and nature not only revolutionized the way Europe conceived of the Divine but also placed him on a precarious edge with his contemporaries.
Historically, there has been speculation surrounding Spinoza's affiliation with the Rosicrucians.
This argument exists primarily because of his name, Spinoza, which echoes the Latin term, Espinosa, meaning rose with sharp thorns.
But there is more to this story than meets the eye and the importance of this argument stretches beyond mere historical curiosity.

The Tzimtzum tells that everything started in The Dot (Kether) and mover from Ain Soph Aur to Ain as the force of Arich Anpin conceived all the other emanations called Zepir Anpin. My point is: how could you, so sure, affirmate about the characteristics of a so complex system of creation speaking from a so called "Unknown (headless) manifestation". There is no sense on trying to explain the begining of exisence (Reshimu, Kav and Avir) starting off from the affimation of an unknown principle. While Spinoza's work has a strong rationalist foundation, its engagement with these mystical and esoteric themes has made it a point of intersection between philosophy and spirituality. It can be a source of inspiration for individuals seeking a deeper understanding of the relationship between the human experience, the divine, and the mysteries of existence.

I think it is understandable that many members and non-members see similarities in Rosicrucian thought in relation to Spinoza's thought. However, I believe that this perception is not a consensus among Rosicrucians. Firstly, let us recognize that Rosicrucianism is made up of free thinkers. Secondly, many end up professing ideas that differ from those of the Order itself, so it is natural that there will not always be consensus. Particularly, I believe that a deep reflection on the philosophy of the Order makes the points of distinction in relation to Spinoza's thought relevant, many of which you so wisely cited. What people have difficulty understanding is that, when a premise (proposition or assumption) is false, it becomes the basis of an eristic syllogism or a paralogism (fallacies or faulty reasoning). In other words, no matter how attractive and coherent certain false premises may seem, once the premise is not correct, the conclusion drawn from it may be erroneous. The ambiguity and duplicity expressed by Spinoza allows us to find different contents in which to anchor different truth values, and here we could see Spinoza's paralogism. Even more, when we look at the derivations of both arguments (Rosicrucian and Spinoza's) we realize that they are profoundly discrepant. It's not up to me to say which of the two is correct or not. But it is worth stating that, without a shadow of a doubt, Spinoza's ideas differ from Rosicrucian ideas in what seems to me to be their essence and consequence. With votes of P.P.🌹 From 🇧🇷 S.R. Genuine.

I would argue that Descartes burried hermetic thinking with his scientific rationalism by stating that if you can't see or measure something it just doesn't exist. We are still mostly caught in that trap today.

Sort of and not sort of. Descartes acknowledged different types of phenomena in the pursuit of observing and measuring them objectively: known knowns, unknown knowns, and unknown unknowns - whereby objects with known variables are easily measured, objects with unknown variables can be deduced (both being scientific methodology), and unknown objects with unknown causes may be enlightened/revealed by the nature of cognition and intuition itself. Intuition also is integrated into the scientific method and its use is dependent on experience and competency (rationalism) as well as spontaneity/divine spark and natural sense (spiritualism). But yeah fundamentally he leaned towards what we would perceive today as hard-line rationalism - so usual heuristic razors, simpler explanations are often more true and if it can't be tested experimentally (physically or arithmetically) then it was materially dismissable.

Hey Agrippa's Diary, you need to do a deep, deep dive into the Iberian Peninsula's history in general, including it being the location of the oldest city in Europe, and then further figure out what Christian Zionism a.k.a. Christian Kabbalism has to do with it, even the granular British Israelism crossover with Ireland. You are on point with the Netherlands crossover, however you need to figure out how it is a 'humanist' ideological hub to other parts of Europe like Germany and France. A whole lot more to it than that, however those Marranos in Portugal and Conversos in Spain are very, very important in figuring out what has been happening in general, even why the state of Georgia has become a recurring theme in the US Russiagate fiasco for instance, because it does indeed all come together into a cohesive whole if you take the time to look.

Men have a form of wisdom, lots of them and they teach them to each other mostly claiming they understand the truth. Let me tell you a secret. The true teacher doesn't tell you the answer she only let's you know when you're wrong. Everybody has their beliefs and opinions that's what makes us human. Who told you that you were naked? The rosicrucians do not have a solid foundation of belief that your God is personal in AMORC THEY DON'T PUSH YOU TO BELIEVE in any one God but in deeper rosicrucian and especially illumination texts and alchemical texts it is 100% acknowledge that in order to be anointed or given the higher knowledge of the philosopher's Stone that God has to bless you or your higher self blesses you with that knowledge you have to be chosen for it spiritual attainment of a certain order and knowledge of a certain order comes from outside the self and if God does not want you to have it you will not have it, the higher and more authentic you go and Rosicrucianism the more it turns into very pious Christianity ancient Templar and cathar toned sort of teachings where you become a servant to God and work on God's behalf on the Earth me and basically become a lightworker and your relationship with the one and only God and they do teach that God is not separate from the universe that the universe or spirit is God's body... That he thrust it out into the universe and that it eventually leads back to one point, in the rosicrucians do also believe in a dualistic universe scientifically and spiritually. One thing that is learned in the high degree of Templar is in and the 33rd degree of masonry when you get up to the rank of Rose cross and night or order of John is you learn who Christian rosenkreuz actually was Christian rosenkreuz was John and the foundation of the rosicrucians was nearly identical to a Templar order.... The Templars are so crazy about John and the lamb and called in the master builder because he was in the last incarnation of physical body that had enough nephilim DNA in it to accomplish the feat of the construction of Solomon's Temple.... I've tracked many of his incarnations and he teaches the exact same freaking tenants in each incarnation and in each incarnation he awakens at 5 years old and is fully initiated at 33 is born into a highly pious Christian a cult family or adopted into one very early but the rosicrucians being literally formed by John and one of John's maintenance is cabalism and alchemy and through both you learn the inseparable truth between you and God they reflect melchezidek/Templar/cathar gnostic themes farrrrr more than any where true rosicrucian adepts are found.... We are a branch of the original mystery schools ofgypt and the other order that's close to our core beliefs in masonry is the Memphis misriam... Original Rosicrucianism has ties to it. Also if you reach a certain attainment of knowledge and piety the invisible order will send rosicrucians to come find you there is an invisible or shall I say ascended group of Masters that work on behalf of humanity and full-blown real rosicrucians are in contact with that order of ascended masters and are instructed by those ascended masters on furthering their spiritual pursuits that are not written down.... And as a matter of fact if somebody does write down higher degree of esoteric attainment teachings beyond like the second sphere they tend to get pretty pissed off about that. Once you obtain the philosopher's Stone and you start taking the red medicine and your DNA is actually repaired enough to have the spiritual faculties they then contact you or somebody from the order comes and contacts you and starts giving you further instructions on spiritual work that cannot be found written down hardly anywhere on Earth, basically you end up needing them it's written in some of the most famous in advance. Chemical text that once you're done at that point take all your books and burn them including mine said the author because there are no further use to you and the knowledge is dangerous to leave around that from that point forward there is no earthly teacher that can assist you further that the invisible order takes over from there on
