Sounds like an interesting experience that I completely missed. In high school I played many many hours of vice city and san andreas, but it looks like Bully had a bit more than mindless fun. I'm glad you shared it, these videos are always a pleasure to watch

I have such fond memories of playing Bully back in the day. I tried to play it last year on steam and just couldn't get it running, and when I finally did....I couldn't play it lol. It's like you said- the characters are all just little shits and the game play was fun and all, but it wasn't enough to keep me going so I decided to keep fond memories instead of replaying it. I wish you found some development stuff here because until now I didn't realize there was no information haha Great video as always my dude

I originally tried to get it working on steam and did except my cutscene were all out of whack so I just bought it on the xbox store because I wanted to see how it all held up. Totally respect you wanting to hold onto those memories though! I still think it is enjoyable to this day but not as good as my nostalgia once said and the development was a bummer because there was videos somewhat talking about it but I couldn't verify the sources for myself. I appreciate the support as always mate 🤙

Now I'm curious to see if you think it holds up! I'm replaying Morrowind after 10 years and I'm never disappointed. Instead, each time I find something new or that I had forgotten and it feels like the first time all over again, though probably Morrowind is a special case

Im so glad to see this retrospective because I know a lot of people know this game but I don't feel it's given as much credit as it deserves. It rivals the best Rockstar games never mind the best of GTA. It's unfortunate there isn't much development information because that's of my favourite parts of your retrospectives.

This game is a gem to anyone who played it for sure, here's hoping for a bully 2 one day. Red dead 2 was once a pipe dream so who knows. First time watching you and now I have a lot of catching up to do :D Love your style man keep up the great work.

I went through this thing again recently and had a damn great time, I concur on how unlikable the characters became and how it made beating this piss out of them all the more cathartic. Found the difficulty a bit breezy overall, but this is easily one of my favorite Rockstar games. I just wish I had better luck with the PC version, that thing is a mess. Imagine doing the music class but with de-synced audio. It's not fun. Oh yeah, and as an aficionado of game controversies, bully's was, indeed, a massive waste of time, lol.

When it first came out there was no option to invert the Y axis. For those of us who play games _cOrREcTLy_ , lack of inverted Y made it really fucking awkward to play. I still pushed through to finish it (unlike any of the GTA games, a few of which I've owned but never finished). It's more game-ified, but that worked fine for Bully since it's not trying to be a full-on simulation. I couldn't finish RDR2 because the fucking dumbass Rockstar mission structure rustled my jimmies too many times. Just wasn't the case with Bully.

Such a nerd. Going to classes. Lol. I think I’ve only went to 2 classes, failed them and went on the main story till the end. Just wanted to punch bad people, go out with the girlfriend and establish school Empire.
