I dont think Edie Hearn was too harsh on Campbell Hatton. Hearn is basically saying that Campbell is just not good enough to be fighting on the BIG events. maybe go on smaller promotional shows. To be honest Campbell has only been put on the BIG shows because to the Hatton name. Not may fighters at the level that Campbell is at get given the opportunity that Campbell has been given.
@hupra726 күн бұрын
But Eddie told the whole world Campbell was brilliant from the start, before his first bout. He was protected and has been found out a few times. The kid is no good and has never been any good, except for his last name. Benn is next!

@@hupra72 to be fair, that is his job as a promoter. He's meant to sell a fighter. However, they have to give him something to work with. When he was an unknown, it was easy to mislead the public.

Cambell has only been at Bens Gym a short time. Give the lad a chance ff sake, He put a goods night work in and wasnt that far behind, plenty of boxers lost their first couple of pro fights and became good, ie- Johny Nelson, I think Cambell will prove a lot of people wrong. Keep going Cambell lad and stay with Ben.
@ashaqhussain69027 күн бұрын
The difference is Nelson had the skills, but had no self belief or confidence in himself. With Campbell the self confidence has been there minus the necessary skills.

Ricky give us all tremendous pride to be British, he needs to tell his son to go to the Mayweather gym. Or stick weights on every limb and walk 10 miles at least 3 days a week, start making that body crave for success.. Hey what do I know 🙊

He’s taking a paid bout slot from a better fighter. That opportunity needs to go to the best man/woman available. America has many fighters that retire due to lack of opportunity. Fighters that are quite frankly much more talented than a Campbell Hatton. Now that matchroom is global, it’s going to get harder and harder to have exclusively British a side cards.

Campbell needs an experienced coach of Amateur fighters to help him learn and masters the basics of good footwork and a solid jab. I am old enough to remember when new novice fighters at the gym were not even allowed to spar until they had learnt those two things.

How can the suspension be over if it’s given as 2 years but he fought twice in that time? Also the suspension was lifted then reimposed, surely any backdated suspension should go from when the suspension was reimposed so after the last fight?

Don't get me wrong, I'd love nothing more than to see Ricky or Campbell get hold of Eddie Hearn in a dark alley. However, just because Daddy's world class at something doesn't mean you will be. I think that's particularly true in the fight game. Listen to what Tyson said about his knee and d wanting to get into it. If daddy's a multi millionaire successful fighter, you'll probably be very good, but possibly even less likely at being world class. Life's been too comfortable since day one. I mean absolutely no offence by this, I'm good for nothing, a worthless nobody. Campbell clearly a very good boxer, and I'll bet he's better than me at anything else, but I just don't think he'll ever be top level at boxing. Absolutely loved his dad as a boxer, went to several fights (which might not sound like much but if you knew how skint I've always been you'd appreciate that's a lot) but I think his future is outside of the ring. Maybe as a trainer, look at Shane McGuigan. I dunno. He probably already made more than I'll ever see in my life, so maybe keep doing that. But I can't see him going as far as Ricky.

His dad said he fought so Campbell didnt have to so if that means moving down to smaller shows to learn his craft a bit more amd maybe teo or three fights with ben Davison then he may change he need to shake off trying to follow his dads style there is only one ricky hatton but if he finds hid own way and becomes more comfortable and not smothering his work so much and maybe fighting on the back foot and letting people come in for the counter with some straight rights and more straight punches instead of those ugly over hands he may find his way. And in no way am i comparing him to loma or usyk but they did turn over later to only have a small pro carrer maybe they should drop him down no pressure no tv shows and learn his craft and maybr come back when his finding his own way
@rajanwar80337 күн бұрын
The pressure of an imeadiate rematch plus his fathers name ...give the lad and his family a break ...stop comparing him to his dad ...how dare fans comment on how good or bad he is ...hes a young man with his dads genes ...he needs another go , and to fight regularly...perhaps better match making ...and to stay in the gym ...maybe where he treated like a boxer not a supstar ...connor benm was sent from austraila to uk on his own , eubank jnr to mayweathers gym , chavez to freddie roach ...maybe just maybe hatton needs to ho across the pond and find out how much he wants it ....but im not writing him off ...i still believe

The pleasure on Campbell Hatton. Has been harder, foor that boy, more than, conner bennn or eubank jr, has had to face, 1MILLION PERCENT, and i feel sorry for Cambell Hatton. Because he has been looked at n trained for people too expect, Campbell hatton, to gave his dads trade mark Boddy punch, when, i wish, he had been trained in amature, and pro,, letting him get his own style, and ability!! But he has been trained and expected to, have this amazing body punch his dad had!! And thats unfair, if i was him, i would remove myself, away froom, everything to do with his dad and trainers n gyms he dad used, needs to, go out on his own, leave manchester, go to the USA, AND START AGAIN WITH A TOTAL DIFFERENT, ROCEDURE, SYSTEM, STYLE, AND EVERYTHIING AROOUND HIM, TO GET AWAY FROM THE HATTON LEGACY, N IF HE DOES, I GUARANTEE, HE WILLL APPEAR IN A YEAR OR 2, AWAY FROOM ENGLAND N MANCHESTER, ON A ENGLISH BOXING CARD EVENT,, AND EVERYONE WILL GO, " OMG" WOW, TOTALY NEW DIFFERENT CAMBELL HATTON.
