It wasn't just Eminem. Remember that Loyal to the Game Album was basically a G-Unit Album. 50 cent loyd banks young buck were all over it with Eminem. Yes they were hot at the time but 2pac should be left alone or left with his own people.

@deandre323able Let me clarify. Soldier like me/ Black Cotton had Eminem on it. Loyal to the game had G-Unit on it Ghetto gospel and Dont you trust me were Songs meant for Eminem rapped by Tupac. Hennessey had Obie Trice Eminem friend on it. Out on bail they had A.I. 2pac voice shouting out G-Unit and Eminem. Thats 7 of the 13 songs. The other 6 were all produced by Eminem and had an Eminem sound instead of a 2pac sound to it.

The worst thing about that awful Eminem produced album was him actually pitch shifting and altering Pac's vocals to fit his wack beats. That's sacrilege and shows how big his ego was/is. Make beats to fit the vocals, man. Don't alter the vocals to fit your wack beats.

Can we get some insights and questions on DeVante Swing? Rumors & his role at Death Row. Suge speaks VERY highly of him as a genius artist to this day. Wonder if Suge was planning to push DeVante full throttle on death row. It would’ve been like signing Prince.

One of Suge's biggest mistakes was not making Devante an in-house producer/writer under Death Row. Devante had Timbaland, Missy and Ginuwine all signed to his production company. Suge could've had all that under Death Row. Devante would've got Death Row's r&b side of the label poppin', if given free rein to just create.

Put simply, it was an attempted money-grab. Both "Loyal 2 The Game" and "Pac's Life" were complete garbage. Studio scraps and leftovers, and feature and production choices that made zero sense. Postphomous projects like "R U Still Down?"; "Still I Rise"; and "Until The End of Time" have some of 2Pac's best work, because they were handled with more care and integrity. Eminem had 2Pac's voice manipulated to say "G-Unit" on that album lol. I listened to that bs once out of curiosity, and have never played it again.

They already had a fantastic example of an album remixed with new beats of pre-Death Row material...R U Still Down? [Remember Me]. It's easily the best album of all post '96 releases. That says a lot. Because Death Row Pac is Pac at his finest, to me. They should have had everyone that worked on that, work on this pre-Death Row Pac album. The Eminem produced album was so disjointed and mis-matchy, that I don't think I ever even listened to it all the way through. Maybe once.

Eminem's production is to repetitive to back Pac's vocal presence and immense imagery. Johnny J understood that Pac's songs oftentimes, built up during the duration of the track and would climax around the later, as they became more meaningful. His beats would coincide with what Pac was feeling and saying and painted a more fluid picture of whichever story was trying to be told.

What Em did with the few songs on the Resurrection soundtrack was cool but that's where it should of stopped. Loyal to the Game was like water and oil. Em's beats and Pac's lyrics did not mix right at all. The only song I like on that made up ass album is "Loyal to the Game Remix feat Big Syke" Produced by DJ Quik. That sxxt goes hard!

Swizz production would’ve been trash. He saved all the good beats for DMX and gave everyone else the leftovers. PACs life and the Eminem produced albums was by far the worst. The other posthumous albums were below average at best. PAC could only do PAC justice unless you got Dre, Daz and Quick like was mentioned. Maybe timberland as well. Just my opinion

Biggest flop? No. Pac's Life did worse. But LTtG contributed to the downward momentum of releases. Don't let the em stans fool you, Loyal to the game was HORRID. Em production doesn't fit well w/ Pac vocals...and Em sped some pac volcals up to match his crappy beats...and the narcissistic ego stroke he had to give himself by making Pac say "em" "2005" "g-unit" If prior post-death pac releases do plat plus, and Loyal only does 1x plat...it can be considered a flop.

It went platinum. It had some solid tracks on there. To each it's own. Maybe wasn't a great Tupac "posthumous album", but it still had some good tracks on there, and Eminem didnt do bad.

No but the next one was. Loyal to the game was nice... on side 2. Pac's life was destroyed. Fortunately the fans know how to correct these mistakes with experience. But em had 1 good song on there. Hell all of them had inexcusable fuck ups. Except R u still down.

Album was a okay album wasn’t great or bad but it was okay . The album went platinum , and Eminem did his thing producing and paid the estate and afeni all the proceeds. Best songs: Soilder like me, ghetto gospel , Black cotton, loyal to the game eminem remix / Dj quik remix , Uppercut ft the outlawz Hennessy (red spyda remix), Out on bail, po n blues (Scott storch remix) , crooked too (remix) , do you trust me. Not good songs: N.i.g.g.a ft jadakiss (jada did his thing but the best could’ve been better, thug 4 life(beat could’ve been better), Crooked too (Eminem remix beat was alright but could’ve been a lil more better, Hennessy ft Obie trice (beat was alright but it didn’t fit the song). Album grade : C+.

I know how Reg rides for the West Coast, all of us from there do that. Even those of us who aren’t from the streets or harder areas. Heck, I am/was a choreographer from Oregon and most dancers from the West coast will choose our sound (and artists) over others. If Jermaine Dupree or Timbaland redid an E-40 album posthumous I wouldn’t be disappointed. However, Afeni loves Em. I think that Reggie answered this with such maturity. It is making me feel that some of those rumor about Reg hating Em (early 2000’s) was a bunch of liars grafting stuff. That album was a lot of pressure on Em. He was also just really getting into production at the time. Em has produced music people would find out he did. The reason I wasn’t into most of it was because it didn’t embody PAC’s true sound. Plus in the back of my head I couldn’t hear it as fresh. I heard it as songs that were just there and he couldn’t come in and work with the tracks in realtime with a producer.

Always found it weird that they let Eminem take control. Had some hot beats, but definitely the weakest Pac album produced. Half the album's vocals pitched to hell and back to fit the beats, instead of beats crafted around the vocals, is what killed it from being good.

I don’t agree with his statement that the unreleased stuff was Pac’s garbage. Pac didn’t release it because he recorded so constantly and so much that you couldn’t possibly release that all at once. He was forced to choose whatever amount would fill a limited album. You can’t put out an album with 200 songs. Did he consider some of that stuff garbage according to his own opinion? Sure, probably a much smaller amount.

Loyal 2 The Game is the only Pac album i did not buy when it was released. I only bought Pac's Life because it had the OG version of Soon As I Get Home with Kadafi on it but Pac's Life was an awful album too
