These anti punk people are the truly toxic ones. They can't see it. They can't see that they are the ones listening to the opinions of other people they never met who hate someone else. And most of those wrestlers never met cm punk before he joined AEW. And other wrestlers who did know punk beforehand made other people hate him before he even got there. It was doomed from the start. But they can't see that they're the whispering little girls ganging up to try and turn people against someone and being passive aggressive wimps it's mostly for clout in the AEW inner circle. These are the fans who gets wildly defensive on a personal level if you mildly critique something they like because they're so bland that they made wrestling a personality trait not an interest.

The biggest mistake was when he let a couple of little boys who jumped up and down on trampolines in barns and backyards all over California, and a guy whose claim to fame is wrestling 12 year old girls, blowup dolls, and who used a finisher called the golden shower, when he let all of them pretend to be executives in his company, that was the worst mistake by far. Those three are executives about as much as I am an f_cking astronaut, they are just like Tony, all playing pretend. The Biggest AEW star was never CM Flunk, the Biggest AEW like it or hate it is Chris Jericho without Chris Jericho the company would have never succeeded to this point. When it comes to Ratings MJF has moved the needle more then CM Flunk overall. Once the Nostalgia or Novocain wore off from CM Flunks Arrival ratings dropped. The only reason why they went up when he came back after suspension is nostalgia. The man is not as big as draw as people make out. I see people comparing him to Hogan lol Hogan made two promotions… the only thing Cm Flunk has did his whole career was go in business for himself and try to bring promotions that gave him more than he deserved down. How ironic is the fact that one of the Young Bucks' catch phrases is "Killin' the Business" and just as quickly as an alternative to WWE began, the same assholes who take credit for starting the company every chance they get to tell someone about it (as if it was them and not their billionaire mark "friend") will possibly be the same ones who killed it when the dust settles entirely over their own vindictiveness and jealousy. There's no substitute for star power when you're trying to build and grow a big national promotion with a desirable broadcasting network. Not only does not having Punk hurt AEW by default but if he goes to WWE and generates tons of buzz making WWE all the talk in wrestling, the only thing that made that possible was the Young Bucks and their influence on a glorified mark with a lot of money that calls himself a promotor. @Matt-cr4vv Жыл бұрын
That’s true he did but even more than that he was a long term mentor that treated him well and taught him how to handle himself when he was basically fresh to the business. As for the encouraging him to go to the WWF that is true but he was already leaning that way already because he felt that the WWF had the proven track record of creating new stars compared to WCW and of course the having more chances to work to get better. But he also wasn’t walking away from a big offer from WCW anyways. I think Triple H has spoken on his contract with WCW and that his first one was in the $60K range for a year and that he asked for it to only be a year long because he was going to make so little that after a year he’d either be worth a better deal or both sides would know it was best for him to move on. And Bischoff has spoken on not making much of an offer to him because they were actively working to cut down their costs and since he lived in the New England area they weren’t going to use him as much because of the cost of flying him in when there were local guys who could drive available. So I’m sure that Regal encouraging him to make his jump influenced what he chose but at the same time I don’t think it was a super hard choice to bet on yourself without a guarantee in the WWF when your WCW guarantee is peanuts. Regal didn’t go with him because he had a healthy guarantee contract that made him decide to stay. HHH took a gamble but he wasn’t really risking much on the other side anyways either in full fairness

No, it isn't. What Punk's stans need to understand that while Punk wasn't the one who usually started things, he didn't end them and made them far worse than they needed to be and also publicly. So many times things could have been settled if Punk ignored them because people either didn't know or even care about what was gonna on or said until Punk drew attention it and got people talking and just made things worse than need to be. So yeah, he needed to go out of everybody. What was their biggest mistake is letting things get so outta hand that you have fire your biggest star.

I wouldn’t say that firing him was their biggest mistake as much as Tony being such an inept leader of his company that he never put his foot down in the very early stages where you could see the potential for some conflict brewing and how it genuinely may have been avoidable with competent leadership stepping in and sniffing those issues out before they develop into much bigger issues that grow to such extremes that Tony no longer has a choice about taking action in a scenario where it has likely grown from being a run of the mill conflict to growing into a ln extreme issue. Just imagine how things could have possibly ended up if st the start of the Cobana stuff TK has stepped in right away to say the rumor was inaccurate and to right again those rumors being spread but instead didn’t take any action to do that and let it continue to grow to the extent that it grew into the explosion that occurred. Nobody was innocent in this thing but if Tony had stepped up and been strong in his conviction and leadership one truly has to ponder how these events would have played out in the end if Tony steps up and fights away the negativity or at the minimum Punk at least sees the efforts me being made to defend his name and feels support and how that may have affected the frustration and anger that built up in punk and resulted in him spewing out the negativity he felt at that point in time. Maybe it happens either way and Punk blows up about something in the end but have to wonder a tiny bit that if the issues that Punk was having has been acknowledge and addressed by his superior (Tony) what reaction we’d have experience from him. I feel like I read something that a lot of what made Punk so upset by the time the scrum went down because he had reported things that he was having issue with that didn’t get adequately addressed. So I will always wonder how things would’ve turned out had Tony taken the leadership steps he needed to take and sniffed out the rumors and issues from the jump and if that may have led to the explosion never happening in the first place. I tend to think that he’d have always found something to explode about eventually down the line but will still have to wonder how everything pans out if handled better.

The company was better off when they were in the Tampa theater in Florida because they all had something to fight for and they really put a lot of effort into it and now it's about a lot of stupidity you look at the Young bucks and they're change which is stupid you look at Chris Jericho's lack of involvement recently Tony Khan since the beginning has ran the company from a fan perspective he needs to run the company for a business perspective he doesn't know what he's doing and this is just another incident of a lack of experience

The thing is aew can't grow ... Yes punk being there would've helped them alot because he had influence over his programs and feuds but overall the main issue is TK and his obsession with being a solo booker ... TK can make big matches which tbh any mark can but putting 2 hours of entertaining TV every single week ... Week after week is extremely difficult... You need keep changing people of booking committee/writters so new people would come with new ideas of entertaining 2 hours and new ideas for feuds .... Aew has not made a single star in these 5-6 years... Mjf has become little bit of draw only because he himself is good not because of Booking... If aew want to grow they need to hire experienced guys put them in booking committee and hire writers to write intresting stories/ promos etc ...
