Basically there's no good side to all this: on one hand Punk called people out, and claimed that "if you got a problem with me take it up to me!". On the other hand the Young Bucks and Omega decided to do just that in one of the worst ways possible. All in all it just spells CLUSTERFUCK

Think Vince or Triple H would have let that scrum nonsense go on? Vince would have smashed those microphones into bits and ended that presser before the second F bomb got out. These guys don't look at Tony as a boss, so he is scared to rile them up. This company ain't making it passed 2026.

I think it’s funny that the same people that are talking about how unprofessional punk is are probably the same people that wouldn’t shut up about punk that whole time he was gone I’m a big punk fan and happy he came back to wrestling but I wish he would have come back to a real wrestling company I can’t believe these clowns have actually fans they had to start their own company because nobody wants to work with them
@Matt-cr4vv Жыл бұрын
Company and the Elite guys aren’t my taste but they do have a base that like them they’re just the more invested fans. But it’s not like they didn’t have some options if we’re being honest about things. They had strong offers from the WWE, which i do believe were influenced by the word going around about them joining up to start AEW before it was officially announced, but even without an AEW floating around I think they’re still getting offers from the WWE but not neeelu as accommodating as what they claimed them to be without the motivation to stamp out people who were being rumored to play key roles in the rumor mill of a new company emerging that would have the financial backing of a billionaire. But at the same time the offer they got from Tony was easy to see being super attractive when they’re being offered in the same territory of money while getting the executive roles and being able to bring on their people to fill roles as well which was the key turning point of their choice based on what they’ve said. And whether people wanna see that as an ego thing or whatever i don’t think most people would’ve said no to that offer if they had it. Not only get to make the same or close to the same money but knowingly get to work way less dates, have a key role of influence and bring your people in along side of you. That would be appealing for anybody I’d think

I remember seeing something about this altercation the night it happened and I genuinely didn’t think it was real because it seemed so silly of a thing to actually happen that I didn’t even believe it was a real thing. So this event was wild and everything about it was so embarrassing for them in terms of the way they handled it and abysmally failed to take the smallest steps at fixing the issues at any stage of things. But if you had told me how the situation would eventually end and that TK wouldn’t force them to actually fix their problems, that there’d be so much continuing issues that when they announced their new show they had to delay announcing where the debut show would be because their handling of Ace Steele prevented things from being a done deal to move on, that they basically provided Punk a show that he would head up in order to keep the parties separated from each other and have largely split rosters to keep guys away from the people they don’t like instead of expecting the bottom of the barrel where people you’re paying 6-7 figures a year to work for you be able to act professionally and work through their conflicts or at the minimum find a way to do what everybody in the workplace does and do your job even if you happen to not like the coworker you have to do it with. And then seeing at the very end, at nearly the very same event, Punk get into another backstage brawl with a young wrestler over a pretty small slight in the glass comment which is a pretty innocuous thing to have ever been truly upset about. Even worse with how quickly it happened following bringing him back on to begin with, which is we delayed and in doubt because of the constant drama even before his return and then there being some conflict or issue basically weekly once he returned all the way up to his exit. If you’d told me at the time of brawl out that the subsequent events would play out the way they did I don’t think I would’ve ever believed it. The way everything happened, especially near his return through the exit, was so silly i don’t think I’d have ever believed that a company and top name wrestler would ever let things happen that way and lose multiple millions of dollars to boot. But in the end that’s how it went and seeing punk back with the WWE, after his summer visit especially and the people he approached to bury the hatchet while he was there, appear that he did what he did to get fired after seeing him immediately doing various silly stuff that stirred up some drama from basically day one coming back and never let up leading to getting in a fight over the glass comment and seeing how happy he seems to be now that he back in the WWE. Maybe he didn’t intentionally work to get cut loose, wiich is clearly an option, but I almost want him to have forged his firing by doing things on purpose because I have a hard time accepting that somebody would do all those things and be so careless unless they truly wanted to be let go. Or I just don’t want to believe somebody would lack self awareness to such an extreme level that they’d do all the stuff punk was doing when he came back and not realize that it was an issue and be confused when the judgement came down. Punk seems like an overall smart dude so I have a hard time buying that he’d ever do that much stupid shit all by accident. But in the end who knows
