The image at 0:34 and 0:36 shows the most important part of a functioning society and a nation, the workers that do real work. Funny, way over here in the U.S. I drink Lipton's Tea a quite a few times a week. Nothing like a good sports story to start a day. Thanks Ollie for another great watch...... mike

Thanks Mike! Yeah I've been drinking Lipton's for ages and never connected the dots.

Lipton's is a great tea for the price. Anything beats "Earl Gray" tea as it's like drinking hot perfume.....@@BeeHereNowuk

I recently did a video on the trophy. It is such an interesting story and the fact that this tiny little non league team achieved such huge feats is pretty amazing.

Pity some of the outrageous players wages of today can’t help these struggling clubs. Great video presented by a good guy, top dollar 🙏👍👍👍

the North East was called the HOT BED of football, because the game was so deeply embedded in the towns and villages of Durham and Northumberland and so many talented individuals - 'amateur players' could get a contract with the teams in the football league It's not surprising that men like Bob Paisley, Bobby Robson, Brian Robson, Gazza, the Charlton brothers, Alan Shearer, Peter Beardsley, Chris Waddell, Brian Clough and a host of individuals too numerous to mention made their mark on the game and that production line has not dried up yet.

Hi Ollie. Great little video mate I love your leftfield stuff you have a unique eye for a story. By the way apparently it's disrespectful to refer to it as "The Potato Famine" these days and people now refer to it as "The Great Famine" just to keep you on the right side of the PC police! Best wishes and take care mate
@lifeschool Жыл бұрын
We ARE the PC police. If some says potato famine, I know what that are talking about. If they say great famine, I think of Live Aid. Soon even famine is too much!
