I agree with you to a certain point. I was a crack addict 15 years ago and have been clean ever since. I chose to so drugs on my own free will. The only thing I disagree with is if it was laced without the persons knowledge or consent. That’s what killed this young lady. I’m lucky that I didn’t smoke anything that was laced. I’m blessed to still be clean 15 years later, and now have a beautiful 3 year old boy.

I'm certain that if parents knew what we knew, they would move heaven and earth to keep their children educated on the dangers of both seemingly harmless drugs. I see too many shattered lives and malfunctioning brains to just go along with the narrative that they are safe. I can't stop anyone from making those bad decisions, but at least I can try to warn people. EDIT: Alcohol is not a gateway drug, per se. Gateway means both the social exposure to other illicit and legal drugs, exposure to a criminal underworld, and a far higher risk of becoming addicted to very dangerous drugs, not to mention a dangerous lifestyle. I simply would not put alcohol and weed in the same sentence as 'gateway'.

This recently happened to a good friend of mine. She was NOT a regular user, she was a single mother with the two most aesthetically beautiful kids I've ever seen in my life. She was just burnt out, wanted a night out with the girls... they got a little coke for the occasion and one bump took her out due to unknown fetanyl contents. Breaks my heart. Abstinence of drugs is best but if you are going to do drugs, TEST YOUR PRODUCT! You can buy a reagent test kit online for under $20. It could save your life.

They may have been together for a week but they knew each other a lot longer. He was friends with her older brother. Stop blaming him bc it’s easy. Steve said it best when he said Amber was an adult and made the choice to use. As a recovered addict, everytime I used, I didn't think of the possibility of overdosing and dying. My children's father died from an overdose on June 17th 2020. The first time I saw the girl who sold him the dope that killed him, I was so nasty. My anger was misplaced. At the end of the day, he made the choice to use, and unfortunately he lost his life. I pray that this family finds peace and that addicts recover before it's too late. Drugs don't love you, and they surely don't discriminate!

First of all I think I remember this episode cuz I remember they were talking to Jeffery after the show saying he had nothing to do with Amber's death but either way if anyone has a drug problem please get help I had a cousin that passed away from an overdose a couple months ago not too long after that few months later one of his good friends passed away from an overdose a lot of people I've known are victims of a drug overdose if you like to drink or smoke marijuana that's fine I don't care about that so much cuz it's not all that bad well it's not good for you but either way I'd rather someone be addicted to alcohol and weed then to be addicted to drugs so please get some help if you have a drug problem please your life is at risk I'm sorry to lecture but I've seen enough people passed away from an overdose and I'm tired of it and I just want everyone who's addicted to drugs to get help even if I don't know who you are but if you don't want help then that's your choice

I hate her friend. Comes on national television, accuses a guy of being a murderer, openly admits that she knew Amber was doing drugs, did nothing to help her, heard that the guy she was accusing of killing her clears his name and still gets in his face about it? Calls him disgusting and everything? She knew Amber was doing drugs and she did nothing to try and stop it. If anything, she's guilty. Oh and as for the whole "you can't love someone after a week" schpeal, that's bullshit. That man clearly loved Amber and looks just as heartbroken that she's dead as the other two. They both owe him a massive apology. She need to answer for her lack of intervention.

It’s truly sad that Amber’s friend, who can’t seem to forgive, can’t even accept the fact that he didn’t kill her. Negativity is what makes people act like morons. At least Amber’s baby daddy was smart enough to shut his trap when the results were read and he was innocent.
