After watching the video, I pulled up the 1958 Ed Sullivan appearance. That WAS Betty Boop! What a cool lady. Thanks for a good video.

I've heard of Ms. Kane. I believe the story about Esther "Baby Esther" Jones having been the inspiration for Helen Kane's career from having seen a profile of her on another KZbin channel. She perfected her career by incorporating some aspects of Jones' style of performing.
