Emp, do the right thing and go down the Failure rabbit hole. They wrote this song and are good friends with Maynard. In fact, Greg Edwards, who played guitar and bass in Failure, also plays bass in Puscifer currently, and is married to Carina Round who is the co-singer in Puscifer. Back in the 90s, all these guys got together and did a small side project called The Replicants. Ken Andrews is a musical genius and deserves as much attention as the Tool guys.

I'm usually super careful not to hype anything even a little bit for reaction channels, but you're gonna like Pet. Also, Pet is intended to naturally flow into Lullaby which is a lot like Crimes in structure and runtime. Would definitely make the most sense to do them together.

Nurse who loved me is a cover. But I love the meaning because I've witness in Healthcare and other jobs where a customer or patient think that the person helping them is coming on to them when clearly not

The Nurse Who Loved me is prob my least fav on the album I like the concept of adding this cover to the album with everything but I definitely prefer Failure’s original, they played live with APC, and Maynard’s other band Puscifer back in 2014 all on stage at the same time for Maynard’s 50th bday tour called Cinquanta, they recently released the recording of one of the shows and it’s pretty awesome, you get the bands cycling through bands’ songs like a randomised playlist. They toured again for MJK’s 60th this year calling it Sessanta replacing Failure for Primus this time, I wish I could have seen it, seen some footage and it goes crazy. Can’t wait for you to eventually get to Puscifer it’s my fav of the MJK bands and they’re absolutely bonkers live.

@ I wish I could get over to the US for this, I’ve seen Puscifer on the Money Shot tour in Melbourne and that was one of the best shows I’ve been to.
