Hey Anton, I think you would have faired better in Joburg S. Africa with romance. The financial aspect there should not be as much of a hinderance and you can find someone in your age bracket.

Hey bro I appreciate your transparency and my story . I have been to the continent and dated on the continent and my story is very similar. The culture differences are very difficult to understand for me. Women on the continent are to depended on men financial and not just them but their extended families.. When u visit occasionally and having to support your life and their life including their extended family it becomes tiring and exhausting.. when do you get in return? A visit every 3 months? My advice is if u not going to live in that country permanently then just forget it…

I appreciated your honesty in this video. As you know I've been pondering whether my partner is at home or abroad. I've walked with you through this journey and I appreciate you giving the world a little peak behind the scenes of what it was really like. I do believe we can make our dreams come true at home

Person X was not trying to come to the US because she couldn’t get a visa. Don’t make it seem she had no interest in the US. The mere fact she was not granted a student visa says a lot.

That’s good u realize that. I see so many thinking they found “love” but are simply looking like sitting ducks to those that need that heavier dollar and/or citizenship (sad truth). There’s the guy with locks and glasses in Kenya that met (who is now his wife) and she never went back home from the 1st day she met him at a hotel (??)…couldn’t get rid of her. She then hurried and got pregnant too. That guy thought it was “love at first site,” but it was really “U.S. $$$” at first site! Poor clueless guy, and there are women getting duked by opportunists just the same, smh. Be careful for whoever is thinking they’re finding “love” abroad. Hate to say it and wouldn’t ordinarily say this…..but make sure they have something if you’re dealing with them. Even still dealing with ones that have something they may still just want the citizenship. Just pray that it’s the right person and God shows u truth about whoever it is, period.

The term passport bro comes from Europe which is a jargon term for a s3x tourist. If you are not one of them, then you're not a passport bro. Most Americans who use the term have no idea what it actually means.

I commend your courage and honesty in the video. I think your approach was okay (minus the financial support), but these thing do take time. So, don’t be too hard on yourself. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God 😅. I basically did what you did (20 years back) but on a longer timeframe. I essentially went deep in USA, Brazil and Nigeria and eventually married a fellow Nigerian (almost 20 years now). The USA was a distant third (in terms of marriage (no issues dating then or even longer relationships). I wouldn’t marry then in the US and wouldn’t do it today. Brazil was a very close second, and ‘til today I still have significant roots including family and friends over the last almost 25 years. Met some wonder women there over the years. The timing wasn’t ideal for me at the time and I wasn’t ready to move to Brazil full time, and that would have been necessary. With that all said the greatest thing I learned is that culture should come first and you seem to understand that. It makes sense to prefer the culture you were raised in, came of age in, and are accustomed to. Going outside of that takes serious work and a person of a certain mind set. I grew up partially and went to school in Nigeria and I’m of Nigerian parentage and speak and understand my tribal language, so that helps A LOT. I also spent enough time in Brazil over the decades to learn the language (basic elementary level) and the culture. With all that like any long term relationship there are still challenges. I may just do a video on this 😅

I've been back and forth to Africa, and met someone before. But in reality, with Africa, you need so much money to be able to see them regularly, I never could take it seriously. Bringing someone back to the US, was not an option, my main issue with the US is family law and propoganda, if I bring them here its the same problem. Also, the cultural differences can be an issue, the Black pride and race conciousness in Africa in general is very low in comparsion to here(We aren't ever where we should be). I want the mother of my children instilling Black pride in my kids, w/o me pushing her to do so. This will be an issue with many African women you will meet. Another thing, which you mentioned, is money. They will definitely ask you for money. I've sent a few dollars here and there(to one's i've said no to for years) but i'm not going to be supporting someone that I'm not seeing or getting anything from, doesn't work for me, so the answer is always a no. This made me realize the concept of being equally yolked, I turned my attention to more privileged African women who were more my peer. I spent 4 months in Nigeria to see if it was a place that I would want to live. I concluded that it was. But I would rather bring an African American with me, if I can't find one that wants to go(which most likely will not want to go), I will probably marry in Africa. Basically, its tough trying to date in Africa, unless you're rich or you move over there(with foreign income). Long distance doesn't really work unless you take it from long to short distance in reasonable time. And you can't truly learn a person w/o cohabitating, or at least spending a lot of real time.

These people target Americans and Europeans. They just don't really care for Americans.. Very intelligent people and they know how they are going to say to someone for that person to believe them.. If African women are your passion make sure their papers are correct. Honestly you seem to be a good catch for someone I say just be patient love will come...
