I think the Minnesota is just as outstanding as Kansas. I don't see a difference except more hit points. One basically would play this ship like the Kansas. So in saying that...Spartan's is just nuts, and that's perfectly ok. We need dodgey people in this community. In fact, I insist. My only complaint is that Wargaming should have increased its top speed. I don't expect Iowa-type speed but at Tier 8 it should be quicker than Kansas by at least 2.5 knots in my unprofessional opinion. I see people say how one could get destroyed in the Minnesota if not played properly but to me that rule applies to all ships in the game because all ships can be sunk in different ways. It's not Honors Calculus playing any of these ships. Minnesota is a perfectly fine battleship ship to play at Tier 8. So is Spartan wrong about the Minnesota? No...because it's an opinion. (However the irony is not lost on me that Spartan will declare Minnesota as a "worse Kansas in every way" and yet puts out a 170,000+ total damage with 2,761 XP l...FIRST on the Leaderboard. That's not a good sell at all. That's like winning the Indianapolis 500 and saying in Victory Lane "I hate this bloody car!" That's proof SpartanElite43 is nuts, but I digress) However the Minnesota works just fine for me. I wish to add one final thought. There is a masterful comedic quality to SpartanElite43 when annoyed by the dynamics of the match AND the voice of Popeye the Sailor adding to the chaos which threatens to unleash Spartan's Sonny Corleone temperament which is the stuff of Legend. All we need now is that moment of a full-blown rage aneurysm...

Minnesota offers nothing better than its tier 7 counterpart.. it has a few more HP but is Slower, and Not as Stealthy.. Is it a bad ship absolutely not but if I had to choose Minnesota or Kansas I am taking Kansas

Minnesota is a ship I didn’t expect to be much better than Kansas but I soon realized that you can pump out 150K games easy as long as you know what you’re doing with it

The Minnesota is a trick from war gaming; you need accuracy, unlike most US battleships, and then she is devastating. I hated her at first, running the same build as Kansas, but recently I switched it up, started using AL New Jersey, with Paolo di revel and AL Colorado, and critically, with a an epic plotting room in slot four.

From my experiences over the years I've noticed a dispersion 🐛 that is progressively getting worse certain shots starting around tier 4, started doing shotgun dispersion every other 2 to 3 shots ud get a wacko dispersion that ether hit with 50% or less of the shots. I've tested this theory on tier 4-7s and on legendary tiers. I used a paper and pen then as peek did a while back looked up my results after. The numbers were pretty consistent with 50% or less hits. Peek and others did a video on Georgia's commander bugs as well with exactly what I came up with since last few updates. This starts at tier 4 not bad 50-75% dispersion accuracy then at tier 5-7 it got worse, when I did my testing I ran exactly the same commanders I've been running since day one at improved stats and ranked up at current update the bug is now gotten worse. I took out Yamoto before this last update and after and noticed a big difference as before I was able to citadel at crazy numbers, now I am lucky to get one a game😂. Depending on server lag, and other players play styles

Minnesota never works for me because everybody knows the super structure can get chunked multiple times and I prefer Kansas 100% over Minnesota

This is the reality of why I hardly play tier 8 aside from Republique, Ruprecht, & Sumner. So many tier 8 ships are just slightly buffed tier 7 that can’t stand up to the few tier 8 powerhouses.

From my experience the only thing i think it has is its gun range thats even remotely good with the first xp unlock making it 19.7km aside from that i get 2-3 shot almost every match while being at the edge of enemy range limits and bow in
