nice review, pretty much what I expected, one thing that they kinda messed up on, it has kansas turrets but iowa velocity so the guns should be a bit more punchy and it's why you get the extra range

Been running AL New Jersey commander with AL Scharhorst and Arthus the cold and have had some brutal opening salvos with Kansas and Montana. With all these damage buffs I've one shot heavy cruisers and taken half the health off a number of battleships. Be interesting to see how the build performs when I get the Minnesota.

I think Blip said on Stream today there's a text error on the Minnesota guns, they're actually 50 caliber long barrels, not 45, giving them more velocity. The text will be fixed later.

I run the same build on both Kansas and Minnesota and the have the same base speed at 22.5 knots. Plus Minnesota actually hits slightly harder than Kansas

Yet again Spartan illustrating the standard types in all their Glory this is yet another design that is a road that was never taken had the original South Dakota class battleships been built this would have been the next progenitor or genus of the Revolution that being said if it's an inter Wars design then it would predate WWII so the 1943 year is wrong because the war is in motion at that time it's basically an evolution via the Washington treaty years so definitely 1930s but since we stopped building battleships the Minnesota and the Kansas and ships like them did not stick around to see modernization it's essentially the California to the Tennessee as it were the Kansas to the Minnesota I'm excited to see the Vermont coming up

According to the guys over at Money Gaming, these are supposed to be 50 caliber 406mm while lacking the super heavy AP. If you look they do about 400 more damage than Kansas.

Also if you look at the torpedo bulkhead the armor is thicker. I'm assuming the armor thickness is only going to have an effect against incoming shells, considering the torpedo reduction percentage is the same.

In my first game in this ship I ran on the side of a full health New Jersey while he was shooting our Drake. Kill him in one salvo ! Insanely powerful guns !

So you see like the Tennessee to the California the Minnesota is essentially a modernized Kansas for the Second World War as far as dreadnoughts go I would think the Minnesota does have better arcs as its firing angles are cleared up via this compressed superstructure but you know how wargaming is tell you something's better as maybe not as effective for discernible at the end of the day the Minnesota has a higher Health pool than the Kansas does that qualify as a superior capital ship I don't know I can't wait to get behind the wheel of this bad boy

Spartan ive ran aroind to other streamers seeing if theres some info about whatever ive not heard of etc however; your content is spot on and gives me all i need to know but with that being said i believe you are quite off on aa build knowledge i have zero problems annihalating planes away from all my aa build bbs from tier 3 to legendary. (I dont have a tier 8 american ship yet) running a FULL aa ship makes u a support bb ur not going to be front line and aggressive unless your team is being aggressive because main guns dont get any enhancement at with FULL aa build. Ive had the arguement with buddoes on these builds of mine but with how i play and how i tail there shits keepong a blanket of gtfo blossomed above them they have come to realize its amazing. Now i do take hits and sometimes often but not enough to kill me and within 4minutes of the game if the carrier concentrate me he/she getd deplaned everytime with ever squad getting smaller and smaller

I recently got back into warships after a five-month hiatus because error code 92 and my cousin and I make a really good team when he is in a battleship and I am a destroyer German Destroyer when my cousin has will to rebuild on because I kept him alive when he was going up against two Cruisers one Battleship with either a force one being a battleship or a cruiser as his guns are on the right side at a time on his left side and he was mentally using the restroom as I am on his left side laughing as I'm keeping my cousin alive😂😂

I mean there is some diffusion going on there I mean the Montana was basically a fast Battleship with standard type features either way the Kansas and her bloodline in the Minnesota or unrestricted the Montana and her siblings were unrestricted in their design so it shouldn't be a big surprise as far as firefights of attrition they seem to be the more potent battleships than say the last completed ones the Iowa's the Iowa's were designs compromise

Not right. On stream, Blip confirmed that Minnesota has 50 cal and is just incorrect in-game. So, the shells should be faster than Kansas'. (imo, "should" be faster is more apt.)

I understand the spotter plan that increases grouping for limited time but how does it work? Active Or Passive I've been running it for quite some time and don't see any difference besides good Rng for grouping.

I am re-learning to play these full French destroyers, they have lost thier edge. I had made a contingency plan 5 months ago for this scenario and I am rolling it out. 😊. I am taking your advice and not playing "too hard" 😊 and am backing off earlier so I don't get spotted. In short I will launch less torpedoes and do more spotting

Looks like the Minnesota Battleship carries an improved velocity 406/45 mark 7 which apparently is a improvement over the 406 mark 7. Pretty cool stuff should be able to pen easier at longer range. Is this right?

Why does the superstructure still take nominal damage? I’ll take HE to the bridge (it’s a simulator but humor me). Take 4000 damage because they cracked my windshield. He bombs 7k to superstructure, but he shell 3k????

That conq player sums up the majority of the bad playerbase in a nutshell. Plays bad, claims cheater on whoever kills him. Rule 1 of Conq: ANGLE. Rule 2: distance. Unless it's a Yamato then say goodbye to your hp.

The bloke in that Conqueror had to be joking with Spartan hoping to be a guest star in a video... Right? Maybe? Possibly? Then again, in case said player is being serious... What is cheating? Cheating is defined as "acting dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage especially in a game or examination" It's not like Spartan has a secret weapon that provides a cloaking device for the entire game...or can effectively masquerade his ship as an ally then suddenly off with the shroud and bodda-bing-Bodda a-boom-boom...the ship suddenly flatlines and Dr. McCoy says "He's dead Jim." The only cheating I've seen possible in this game is stream sniping which appears to be the only way to cheat as far as I'm aware. That bloke had to be joking or he or she has been drinking drain-o again, but that's just me.

Like a Battleship main, i make mistake and im not saying they are hacking Also how in the name of God you can hack a console? Also, we say in advises: DONT GO BROADSIDE!!!! Easy, and more with Battleships and Light Cruisers than are more vulnerable to receive heavy damage in the citadel. Everyone forget this, thats why i have Richi and Jean playstile to protect my self and in the right moment get away or go foward like Gnei "The G-Wagon-"
