I LOVE the logo! I have 2 Tandorio watches, and they would be so naked without it. The stylised Tandorio "T" reminds me of classic Talbot cars, is very reminiscent of the Art Deco period, would fit right in, and could be a blazing grill or hood ornament on a roadster of the pre-WW2 period! It fits right in with express trains and Hercule Poirot sitting at a street-cafe table, pondering a new case with Hastings ready to fire up the car. I have NO idea what is wrong with Jordi not seeing this for the very tasteful design it is!

I own several Tandorios and the are incredible value for money. Usually they offer the p9ssibility od a sterile dial if you dont luke the name or the logo.

Amazing watch. I never understood your original video (well, understood it a bit). Bought mine anyway and loved it. I'm glad you're revisiting your view on this watch. A Titanium GMT for this money is insane. Also, Tandorio may be a problem brand in the British-dominated world, but for everyone else, it's just another foreign-sounding brand, no different to Erebus (I know that hurts, but to anyone speaking Spanish, they are not different at all).

I purchased a Tandorio cream dial, Roman numeral hour markers, automatic, 200m, screwdown crown watch a while ago. Believe it or not it’s very, very good. No date window. Excellent power reserve and accuracy. NH 35 and sapphire crystal. Maybe about $58. 40mm. An unusually good product in my experience. The Tandorio logo is not offensive by the way.

I have purchased several Tandorio watches with sterile dials and I’m very happy with them . One with a NH35 and one with PT5000 movement. They both keep good time and are well made and you can’t beat the price. They do give you the option of adding your own logo for an additional charge .

I'm onto my 4th or 5th Tandorio. An outstanding base for modding, as they cost so little. I was going to buy a titainium case for my s/steel field/pilot watch but a whole watch was less than £10 more than just a case. Very useful, as it turned out, as one of the phantom date must have accidently got changed in the 9 to 3 zone and broke a tooth, which I found in the case, and the movement abitarilly stops irrespective of wind. That movement, case and strap (so a complete watch) is in the spares and repairs box. I still swapped the internals of my original s/steel into the titanium as I prefered the dial and hands on the s/steel. I subsequently bought another complete s/steel field/pilot to fit a bronze case as I wanted a bronze one, which they didn't do at the time. And I agree regarding titanium (and bronze) buckles. Both of mine have been replaced, as appropriate. Original SKX's are way too desirable (and expensive) now to mod so Tandorios are todays Ford Capri of watch modding (the original Capri that is, not the stupidly named new one).

I've bought a few tandorios *specifically* for the purposes of modding. Cheap enough to scratch the itch without guilt, and since quite a few of them have a Seiko-standard 28.5mm dial, there are tons of options out there for customization. You get a solid movement, sapphire, and a good-enough case. So just swap out the dial and hands, and your lume problem is solved too.

I like the fact Tandorio almost always has a sterile option, but I prefer when there isn't any text below the pinion too, it gives better visual balance. They have some truly sterile fliegers I'm really fond of.

I've got a custom build I did using a bronze Tandorio case. It's a nice case. And it's an odd size, so I had trouble finding the right parts, so I messaged them, and they responded back quickly and gave me all the dimensions I needed. Good company, I'm a Tandorio fan.

It really is all about association. The names Rolex and Vertex could really be in any home improvement store caulk aisle .. plumbing for Hublot ... and nothing is more generic than the name Smiths ... And there are Sooooo many brands named after people, Tudor 'borrowed' a royal dynasty lineage ... And a brand like Vacheron Constantine sounds like the most pompous inflated name someone could think of ... And Yet we chuckle some brand names today. I do own a RDUNAE watch but only after watching good reviews of it and learning that it stands for 'Rome wasn't built in a day' in Latin (pardon my poor Latin spelling but): Roma De Un Non Aedifaceta Est.

I bought a Tandorio GMT and liked it so much, I bought a second one. Very simple, easy to read, wears comfortably enough. But I got different straps that I didn't like. Just as well, since I'm a big guy and they didn't fit my eight inch wrist. My cream dial got a brown leather strap, and the blue one looks pretty good on a mesh bracelet.

I recently purchased a Tandorio diver for $45 US and LOVE it. There were many dial choices. I picked a plain black dial with 24 hr. Numbers under 12 hr. Ones. No logo.

No logo? These Tandorios are homages of British MoD W10 types in either Smiths round case, or Hamilton tonneau, and the dials were NEVER "sterile", but had makers' names and logos printed on them. Getting one without logo is not just taking the fun out of the watch-face, but also an insult to a fine watch company, that deserves to be recognised. The ONLY "sterile" military watches were those made for Hitler's Wehrmacht, all others had names and logos.

I just went with model that has the 24 hours on the bezel. I like the look more, giving it more of the tool watch look, rather than a dress watch.

I bought a Pagani Designs PD-1639 with a Seiko NH35A movement, 316 steel, sapphire glass and a ceramic bezel insert. I paid £43 for it. Just incredible specifications for the price. It has better specs than all of my other watches in my collection YET I don't wear it. I took it off the bracelet as the male end links gave it a real lug-to-lug of almost 57 mm; however, on a strap it fits my 185 mm wrist. BUT I still don't wear it. I can't explain it. But value does not mean you will wear a watch.

I was particularly chuffed with your comments on Pag-R-ni, so say I who was wearing a Pag-R-ni GMT while watching this episode which I am quite chuffed with (the watch that is). At times though I am a bit confused over lume criticisms. My test is that if I can still tell the time on the watch at 6am with my head under the bedclothes then the lume is good. The Pag-R-Ni makes it well onto daylight! What's not to like? At my age I can't read the 0.5mm logo text, who can?

What is called that blue strap again? Looks interesting as I would have a few other cases where it might be useful: NH35 based watches often have a deep case and are not comfortable when worn on a standard NATO. That strap looked much thinner and stretchable.

Bring the watch to a watchmaker and ask them to extract the dial, then bring it to a graphic artist and see if they can fill in the empty spot. Probably cost you more than the watch, but you'll have a one of a kind piece.

I buy Tandorio purely to mod. I generally put different dials and hand sets on them - its the cheapest way to get 36-39mm 316L SS, Sapphire crystal and an NH movement to mod into funky dress watches with 200m water resistance. Always check the tightness of the caseback though, I've had at least two that were not tight enough out of the box. The name is ok, if you think of it as mexican or spanish!!

To quote Shalespeare - "Tandorio, Tandorio, where for art thou Tandorio" I recently purchased a Tandorio Willard Homage because it had a mother of pearl dial and I kept toing & froing between the Tandorio logo version and the sterile which looked unbalanced with the blank area above the pinion. In the end I decided that no one else looks that closely at the brand on your watch and eventually they probably will become a well known brand like Addies anyway so went with the curry

Other spices also add color, with red coming from ground annatto seeds and yellow from saffron. Curry powder typically contains at least the following spices: Turmeric, Cumin, Ginger, and Black pepper. It sounds like you could say that tandoori is a specific way of cooking that also includes curry spices.

As far as lume is concerned, it would 😮 if they were to come with a full BGW9 lumed dial (like the Zelos Frost dials. Wow!

I wanted a Captain Willard in titanium, and sure enough, Tandorio makes one. I bought it for a more than fair price, and I love it. And it actually has decent lume. I have one other Tandorio that has a bunch of lume that is, however, truly awful.

The hand quality is much better than that of Paganis' hands which tend to look like balloon animal, soft, roundy edges. But Tandorio's look sharp.

I’d use a MN style para strap on it, all the watches that have crappy protruding are backs get those for me, and it solves all issues 😊

I'm very unimpressed with the finish on my titanium version of this watch...my copy seems to have a painted matt finish. After a few days of wearing it's already peeling off / has marks in the paint finish....maybe the titanium version is the one to avoid!

200m water resistance should be taken with a large spade of salt.

With an O ring screw down back, and screw down crown, (assuming you screw down the crown) there isn't much that can go wrong.
