The criticism of your Op 10.2 etude wasn't that you faked it though, was it? They just said that you didn't play the second finger at all. At 2:15 in your video with all Op 10 Etudes or 0:07 in the upload of just Etude Op 10.2 you can even tell from the midi that you didn't play the second finger (also this kept happening throughout your performance). That was the criticism. Don't get me wrong though, you're one of my favorite pianists on youtube. When I want to listen to piano pieces in the background, I always listen to your recordings. You've proven more than once how good you are, even with unedited recordings, and honestly, when I just want to listen to a piece in the background, I don't even mind the recording being edited. Most professional studio recordings are edited as well, why shouldn't that be allowed for uploads on KZbin?
@miguelfernandez5583 Жыл бұрын
If i remember correctly, pianotech also said that he agrees with the editing ,but as long as you admited it, otherwise, it can create false idols or espectation to people.
@konpet4248 Жыл бұрын
@@miguelfernandez5583 yeah, that's fair. When I noticed in animenz's Heaven's Feel recording that he edited the audio in some parts (it's rather easy to spot in the 2nd part at the note repetitions for example, but also in other places) I was kinda shocked at first. But I mean most of his listeners don't care about authentic piano, they care about how it sounds when it's played perfectly, and that's what animenz delivers. But I mean he also plays his arrangements live, so he has also proven his skill fairly often by now

I don’t think pts said your op 10 no 2 was fake, he just said you didn’t play all the notes in the right hand, which is true. We obviously know you have the technique to play op 10 no 2 properly, you’ve played way harder stuff, and I’m pretty sure you uploaded a second video of op 10 no 2 before, which was slower and played all the right notes. As long as you don’t edit the notes in, it’s fine. He said there was something fake about the dynamics of your petrushka 1st mvt, and that the notes didn’t sync with the sound. If you really want to make an explanatory video, don't use the tape wrapped around your finger as an excuse to stop playing. The Chopin Etudes have long and short pieces. If you don't play properly until the end, you can't say that each of them plays well. In this explanation video, you can't resist when your right hand goes up. And if you look at the previous video of this song you played, you didn't play it at all and skipped it. You have been stuffed online on KZbin as a performer who played in an expedient way.
