Sandra Westley uk, so glad here that dark walls and dark paint are never used over here, it just wouldn’t sell, everything here is light and bright, even my upholstery is silver/beige, I just put a throw on it for regular use. We also have under counter lighting and lots of LED s in the ceiling just like an ordinary home, lots of lights.

I've painted many a cabinets, Ive learned the hard way that the proper paint is the second key to the prep. Insl-X makes a great paint for cabinets, Stix is the primer and Cabinet coat, then if you have the time you can put a coat of polycrylic for a top wear layer for protection did that to our island and not our cabinets and now our cabinets need redone/touched up and I will now definitely add that top coat after. Anyway ENJOY!!!!

I was disappointed you didn't show a lot more of the Grand Design Rally. Congratulations ! Lily getting your driver's learning permit. Drive safe always and please always use signal lights for all turns and put your headlights on for safety in the rain , on the interstates, stop for stop signs even in shopping centers and obey all speed limit signs .

Well we flew into the event and were only there for 3 days. It was also the first mom and dad trip we have had in 11 years so we wanted to enjoy the rally instead of filming the whole time! Excellent driving advice! Especially following rules in a parking lot. People lose all driving knowledge the second they pull into a parking lot! 😬

Our friend Jeff has always had a love for cars and has had many Land Rovers! The time before this one we drove around his VW Golf that had over 400hp and did 0-60 in like 2 seconds! He's a landrover addict for sure. Years ago when I started researching the full-time RV lifestyle for myself (and a possible companion), Class A's fell of the list pretty quickly, due to loss of square footage to the cab/driving area. However, the Class A you shared with us in tonite's video has me thinking maybe I should revisit my decision. One thing that is a deal-breaker for me is I really, really want a little get-around car to drive when stationary, which is why I eventually decided on a Toy Hauler 5th wheel. The "flex space" of the garage is just to perfect for my needs to pass up: garage on travel days, when stationary, an office by day and 2nd bedroom at night. I also still love tent camping, so big diesel dually to haul the TH can double as a camping gear hauling rig, towing the get-around car for sightseeing and fuel economy for camping places the TH won't be able to go. But when you said in the video your friends, when they had their Super C, towed their travel trailer, lightbulbs started going off over my head... Great video, as always, and grats to Lily on successfully navigating one of the many "rites of passage" a teen encounters along the way to adulthood!

Did you guys sand everything before priming? We are painting our kitchen cabinets and adding a new sink and countertop. I’m half done the sanding of all the brown “wood” finish.

We skuffed everything with sand paper. Well we degreased everything, skuffed(lightly sanded) and then wiped everything down with alcohol.

It really needs to be on everyones! It is such a beautiful place! And yes, it took us about 24 hours instead of 12hrs but we got the whole RV put back together and the lake house cleaned up in that time! We were exhausted but so glad that the painting was done!

On Long Island in New York they have drivers ed in high school Which is the same ascwhat you're talking about in Maine and the students get their license a year early

Yes very similar. Maine just holds its classes with driving schools and it is done outside of school.

I have been all over the world and a fair amount of the USA but never have I spent time in the NE especially Maine. You should be paid by the state tourism department. Maine is on our list but it is getting moved up this week. What are the best months to visit?

Maine is incredible and we hope you are able to visit there SOMEDAY soon! Our favorite months are August and September and stay through the first week of October to catch the foliage if you can!

Are you located on the Songo River? We’ve done that trip a few times when we would stay at Point Sebago and rented a boat to go up to Long Lake. Awesome area!!
