Shout stain remover used to have a solid stick that you could leave on the clothes for days . I ll have to look for it , that thing got everything out .

Great haul! I tried the stain treating formula and I accidentally bleached a pair of pink mother jeans. I was so sad. I ended up soaking the jeans in bleach and they came out off white with no bleach spots. I sold them cheaper but the buyer left me 5 star rating. Fingers crossed for your Clare V sweatshirt!

A few months ago I mentioned to you how I didn’t really care for my local bins…..most items were less than desirable. You encouraged me to give it a chance and go back. Well….I may be turning into a “bins” girl!!! I haven’t found any backlist items, but I have found some really good bread and butter items and several items for various family members. My bins prices are very reasonable: $2.49 for up to 25 lbs and $1.79 for over 25 lbs. Sorry, I’m not rubbing it in, but you do seem to find some really good/better name brand items. Our bins is super chill….the t-shirt bros are there, but they’re super quick and go back to their corner :-). So far, no great linens at the bins, but I have found some great linens on my thrift route. Goodwill is by far the most over priced thrift in my area (North Alabama).

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! I hope everyone reads this and learns from you. You gave it a 2nd chance and it was better. I was at the bins yesterday and it was pretty bad. If that had been the 1st time I went, I would have said never again. Some days are just like that. I usually tell people to give it a few times and then decide. Proud of you xoQ

Great Haul. Hilo Hattie’s , say HE-lo Hattie’s. A very tourist, low quality, garish print brand locals would never ever buy. Quite an interesting story to their business model. They went out of business and now it’s popular. Go figure. Put luau in the keywords, might help. Aloha!

Our Bins in Seattle area went up from 1.99 to 2.30[+10%tx] /lb in Sept. Still a great deal. Essentially $2.55/lb after tax. Do have to be picky with heavy coats and boots.

Months ago, I used the stain treatment on a pair of 1980s Vintage Christian Dior Starched linen pants… completely bleached 😢…. Use carefully, but can really work for lots of stains!

so funny that yesterday i found a similar item to that "PACT" sweater and the hem was cut at the waist too. its so sad because in my nearest outlet in SSF you hardly find anything good, its super competitive. I guess bc people don't want to cross a bridge to go to another outlet

I use the same spot remover I will usually spray the item first with shout or spray n Wash then I use equal parts of dawn baking soda and peroxide and use the brush to apply the paste 🥰

Your bins are more expensive but you have better things than we get in Grand Rapids Michigan. It’s very Dutch here and not many people buy quality. Does Joanie sell as well? What should I look for as in Posh . XL. is wanted because both xl people and skinny people who want oversized look buy them. Also xx and small often go on clearance so skinny people can buy on clearance, while the xl sell at regular price imho

"My" bins was only ten miles from my home. Then it closed. There is one thirty miles away and I went once. I was not impressed. The bins I go to now is 62.5 miles away, on the PA turnpike. It is run very efficiently and they rotate one row (there are four rows) every forty minutes. I quickly realized that I should take my lunch and stay through two rotations. That is a long day for a 74yo man although it has gotten easier since I have been doing it for six months now. I go twice a week. I get enough stuff that I can list four things everyday. After they rotate the fourth row and I have gone through it, I pay and then I eat the lunch I have made in my car. Then after I eat and catch my breath I go back in for the first afternoon rotation. Then after the rotation of the fourth row it is time to go home. The closing of my bins has worked out better than I expected.
