Woah. I never knew John's mother died from suicide. I thought she had a sickness and passed away. I wish they didn't edit that on cbbc, but I guess they did it to protect the children. Wow. Lost and Found is very deep.

I really loved this so very much. It's good to recognise similar behaviours that The Next Step and Lost and Found Music both treasured. I really like how you examined Piper's anxiety to Clara's deep anxiety, the two toxic relationships between Mary and Tully, Riley and James, but explaining Tully's more infuriating mood towards Mary that the other couple. Also adding in other characters story lines and putting in humorous, sad and expressing moods towards these two series. And lasting talking about John's story and how he struggles because of his mum's lost, and to finish it was off not talking too much about the love stories each TV show beholds. And again, this is and amazing video and the best so far, I hope you do more comparing The Next Step to Lost and Found Thank you @Mockingariana3 💙

I actually think lost and found was the better show for many reasons: .it was way more realistic, I mean there were no princes or any nonsense like that .people didn’t really waste there time “dancing around there feelings” and they kind of just got on with it .there was situations that would actually happen like people flipping of at each other .over all it was great and like u said in the video , everyone got an opportunity to have at least an episode to themselves and not just be practically an extra

I love both, I like that Lost and Found addresses more serious subjects like with Jon and Clara. I miss the show and I wish it had more seasons but i did think it ended pretty well in all honesty, and i liked that the last episodes focused on Clara, she started to get anxiety when everyone 'attacked' her for singing a song, claiming she wrote it but she didn't.

I believe the second series and beyond of Lost and Found was only shown on Netflix here in the UK due to CBBC losing interest in it with them not liking the more adult storylines (even though they cut some scenes from them) and them also wanting to focus more on The Next Step

West's episodes: - Seeds (Season 1) - Nutcracker with Chloe (Season 3) I really wish they had more TNS characters in L&F, maybe more relatives or relationships here and there but no too overpowering, like you said. I do like how L&F really digs deep and is for a more mature audience.

In my opinion, yes Lost and Found was underrated and deserved more, but rewatching The Next Step I like it more. I love seeing how much each dancer improved over the seasons.. for instance Riley gains way more confidence in herself come to season 4 than when she started in season 1. I really enjoyed Emily’s growth in just becoming a better person and her friendship with Michelle strengthening over the years from her being jealous of Michelle to wanting to buy and have the studio with her. I enjoy the skills Noah gains from season 4-6 and how he’s now advancing to be bigger and better and I love how Richelle got over her serious dancing(lyrical eyebrows) and gave her best performance with Noah at regionals in season 6. I like the humour in the show, I like the drama in the show, I actually think they did a really good job showcasing the anxiety and mild depression Piper gets due to Miss Angela and how she tries to overcome it the best she can it shows that it’s not easy to live with it but with the right environment and people she is able to thrive. Lost an Found was good as an older teen show. And the deeper messages were good and the storylines were good. It should’ve gained a 3rd season to kind of round it up and end it properly. Overall, I prefer the next step over lost and found because it’s easier to watch, it’s captivating enough without being overpowering and it’s a good binge watching show and it just is a show that keeps you wanting more.

I hope The Next Step touches on more serious problems. I know Michelle's parents got divorce and Piper's anxiety but I think like in lost and found they should add a storyline about a death of a family member just like John's.

To be honest I'm sad that the show was never continued. The show definetly could've continued the storylines in them. For example I want to see how the anxiety storyline continued. John's storyline. Leia's story. I think that because now it has been a few years the show obviously has been cancelled but I would love to see how the characters of L&F in The Next Step. We have seen the band make an appearance since the show but I would prefer a deeper story with John and Michelle see where that went. Also I would love to see how Clara's mental health. I think all the characters on the show including characters like Mr T all had potential to grow and its a shame we didnt see it happen on Lost and Found. So why cant they make cameo appearances on The Next Step?

Did Clara just have anxiety? I really thought it was implied that she was bipolar. She either was so high, and so much energy which is manic and staying up all night, or sitting in the dark and so low. And I thought John said, that she reminded him of his mom who was the same way. I was very surprised how deep the storyline with Clara and johns mom went. It didn’t strike me as that kind of show, but like you said the actors in those plots did a very convincing job. I related to it a lot and it hit me quite hard, I love Alex Zaichkowski, his music (under the name Havelin) is amazing and he’s a terrific actor.
