Well boys this video concludes my story with the silly drone show. It was a fun ride with yall and I can't wait to find the next thing for my brain to consume lol. I'm still not done talking about Liam's projects so there will be more of his stuff I get to talk about in the future lol. Anyways see ya.

Absofreakinglutely. It paved the groundwork for indie animation, doing a lot of heavy lifting and it’s really what put GLITCH’s name out there. Absolutely worth it.

I think it would have helped if Uzi and Doll were much closer friends, maybe even cousins, so that way Doll turning against them feels more personal instead of her just being there

So here is how N got back to the surface: the explosion that happend when Uzi was falling in the pit send him flying outside of Cabin Fever labs like Nori, Yeva and Uzi, so he figured out that she was lauched somewere else.

2:52 too bad ur gonna find out to reproduce, the two drones take their own code and combine it and place that code into a new drone which is their child they put it into that little pod thingy and once it's mature enough it can be given a new body that has a little bit of freedom to move and then once it's mature enough it can be given a new body that has a little bit more freedom to move and so on and so forth until they're just a normal worker drone

I understand all the problems with the show's pacing with how fast it is and how much happens off screen for episode setups, but at the same time... I understand why it happened. Each episodes takes months to create and hundreds of thousands of dollars, they can't lose their audience, so something big has to happen every single episode. The show probably could have benefitted from taking a small break from all the revelations and ideas thrown in there, but at the same time, it would be a huge gamble for the show to do that with it's production time in mind because they need to keep people wanting more. Not to mention, it had an extremely limited run time with only 8 episodes, and while that may not have been planned out in advance, they had to have known that they couldn't make the show run for too long since Murder Drones isn't the only show Glitch was planning to produce. I don't think think that these make all the pacing problems entirely excusable, but I'm willing to overlook them and appreciate what the show did do right with all the constraints in mind. Murder Drones is an amazing accomplishment and I really had fun with it.

When you explained Cyn as disabled I was reminded of this one guy I watched reacting to Episode 5 and when Cyn came onscreen he was like “ohhh she got robo down syndrome” 😭😭 But to answer the titles question, yes, absolutely. I got into MD extremely late - last month to be exact lol. The show is amazing to me. Uzi reminds me of myself 10 years ago when I also were an angry emo teen that acted bitter towards everyone. Seeing her have a character arc without losing much of her orignal personality (god I hate it when Protagonists lose their entire personality in the name of character arc) felt earned. N and Uzis relationship reminds me of that between my partner and me, which is most likely the reason I rooted for them since their first meeting lol. I havent seen anything about MD before so I wasn’t sure if Nuzi was canon or not. The story manages to show alot of stuff in 8 episodes and even manages to give several characters motivations, backstory and goals (excluding J, she got scammed outside of simping for Tessa). Also I love how the background characters improve. Lizzys very first line spoken is her insulting Uzi and by the end, she helped in the final days with small actions next to Thad who was always friendly towards Uzi and didnt seem like hesitating to help their cause in the end.

As someone who came into the show for mainly the plot, I genuinely can't say I was disappointed. I'm of the opinion that Liam does have immense promise. He's a good (hell, I'd dare say great even) writer, however he is certainly not perfect at the craft, and there are some cracks he needs to work on. Watching the show does take a little more effort than just sitting back and relaxing, as while the lore and key details are there, some of it is secluded in blink-and-you'll-miss-it moments and hard to spot visuals. Coming from someone who has no problems with this, it's definitely not the type of watch everyone will be up for, but if you're willing to examine and explore for those little bits and pieces, then I'd say give it a shot. There are also a few moments that really should've been added in for the context of the episodes to feel truly sufficiently complete. For example, how did Doll meet up with J and Tessa? And how did N know exactly where to find Uzi after reaching the pod? Just a little more time and we could've sealed those holes, but unfortunately that's gonna have to be on my brain for the most part. Now, with (some) of my criticisms out of the way, I really adored the story, to be honest. A bold loner drone going from trying to purge a corporate death squad to figuring out the disturbing truth about their place here.. and the true threat looming over them all. The main mysteries of Copper 9's core implosion, as well as the AbsoluteSolver and its origins, and even the history of the disassembly squad: N, V, J. All of it culminating to a final fast, yet perilous clash between Uzi and her allies against the Solver itself, the outcome either ensuring the safety or destruction of not only all of Copper 9, but the rest of the universe as well. I honestly can't get enough of it all and though Liam and his team still have some patches and scars to mend, I think he did an insane job with the little that he gave us. Murder Drones is definitely my favorite indie show and probably one of my favorite shows of all time in general. While I too yearn for a season 2, I'm content with it ceasing here (assuming Liam ain't trolling us and plans to return sometime later with it ready for airing). Sure, there are a good few things that we want to know of and see explored, such as humanity's fate and whether or not Doll's truly gone, but I feel that at the least, we got all that was vital to the story concluded (even if it was a bit fast). I'll always be sure to stop by this show every now and then cause man, this universe has so much incredible stuff put into it.
