Was my neighbour's DIRTED TANK a SUCCESS? - 6 Month Update

I helped a young fishkeeper set up a 20 gallon dirted planted aquarium. Six months have passed and we take a look at how the aquarium has developed.

Was at my cousin's business yesterday, and saw the fish shop next door gave them a free tank and a couple plants and fish. I bought a couple plant next door, going to grow them out a bit and cut them and go over to properly scape it for them, maybe even get a decent light as well and some of my shrimp 😅😅 I was actually more excited for the tank than seeing my cousin and her husband were OK after their accident earlier that morning 😂😂

that adult gourami is impressive!!! so does the wild color variant (three spot) have that red under the anal fin? truly magnificent in its own way

It's more of a gold colour, I have seen the other colour varieties of the species have it as well

Six months earlier the dirt capping was with fine sand. Now you are showing a tank with different cappings ( small spherical gravels). How can one belief that these two tanks are the same?

I did a video of another tank a few months ago (a cube), that is the one with the fine sand you are talking about. This is the one I did for my neighbour, check out the original video in the desciption or endscreen. You will see it is the same 1mm spherical sand.
