In all fairness, baseball is the least sport where one individual vs one individual can shine unless it's Ohtani as a pitcher vs Judge as a hitter in the bottom of the 9th like Ohtani vs Trout in Japan vs USA. This game is about the team. The bullpen is so underrated in this game. People don't realize how vital a good bullpen is and we saw that in this world series. Little things like playing good defense (ie. Edman fielding a ball in the infield preventing it from driving in a run) and all the little things like sac flies (Mookie Betts game winning sac fly to win the world series) is what makes the difference in these games. Think about it. A Sac Fly won the world series. So all the kids at home better learn how to hit sac flies and stop trying to just hit homers and striking out.
