Great video as always. Firstly, there is no far right in Ireland, the beliefs held are Nationalist at their core. Being an Irish Nationalist is not a bad thing and something we should be proud of considering our own history. Very few Irish people are really happy with immigration and as the level of crimes increase more will speak out publicly. Let's check in on next election as the leaders of this nationalist movement have yet to emerge. Secondly, how can you use that term 'far right' the way you are? Is this not slanderous? Taking Peter Casey case into account, seems.a bot double standards. Why is it OK to smear the powerless in Ireland while the chosen look down at the 'others'? This seems acceptable by Irish legal system Lastly, you are inaccurate about Mr Hutchs views on immigration. He very clearly stated his position on Instagram. He states that Irish people should take priority in Ireland. Is that left wing? Or is that far right?

@vinlennox7658 you need to understand there is something much more sinister afoot Ireland, once a beacon of cultural resilience and independence, is increasingly perceived by critics as subjugated to the influence of globalist elites, particularly entities like the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the so-called "digital aristocracy." The current administration in Dublin is accused of adopting an oikophobic stance, demonstrating a disdain for Irish traditions, values, and sovereignty. This is viewed as part of a broader agenda to erode national identity in favor of globalist policies. The Irish government has faced severe criticism for its immigration policies, which opponents claim have resulted in an influx of undocumented migrants, straining public services and destabilizing communities. Simultaneously, Dublin's embrace of progressive "woke" ideologies, often imported from abroad, has raised concerns about the marginalization of traditional Irish culture and societal norms. One of the most contentious issues is the potential dismantling of Ireland's agricultural industry, long considered a cornerstone of its economy and cultural heritage. The government has aligned with stringent environmental and climate policies, which detractors argue prioritize unrealistic green objectives over the well-being of Irish farmers and rural communities. This, they assert, serves external interests rather than the needs of the Irish people. These trends, according to critics, signify a betrayal of the nation’s independence and the principles upon which the Irish state was founded. The growing influence of globalist agendas, coupled with the perceived subservience of the Irish political class, has fueled fears that Ireland is losing its identity, autonomy, and capacity to protect its citizens' interests in the face of external pressures.

Terry. You must have used the term far right in your video at least 10 times or more. Far right is a pajorative term used to smear and damage the character of those who are deemed far right by an Irish society who used to be Right & Conservative up until about the 1980's to being Left & Liberal now, today. Not alone that but the Catholic religion has been replaced by the woke religion. Ireland has become a woke, globalist, cultural socialist society where anybody who disagrees with the pro EU/UN/WEF/NATO/ISRAELI narrative is deemed to be a far right extremist. This view is promulgated by the government and the political establishment by the use of mainstream media, rte in particular, who ensured that no views opposing their narrative was allowed to be aired during the election. The imbalance and bias is profound and systemic.

Any definition of far right is complex, but among its aspects are a lack of belief in equality and equal rights, narrow nationalism and a belief that one's own ethnicity is innately superior to that of others, and that people of other races don't have the right to breathe the same air as they do. Hitler had his solution with the gas chambers. The Irish far-right believe instead in deportations. In both cases there is a lack of compassion and respect for the innate dignity of all human beings.

Hey! Legislation is not Law. -This is applicable to all common law countries -Legislation is made by politicians, and includes Acts, statutes, codes rules, policies etc -Common Law is made by the Jury , i.e. the common Man i.e. the People -Legislation is not Law unto an individual unless a Jury (the people) decides it is -This prevents dictatorships and tyranny, because the people, via the Jury, have the final say as to whether Legislation, from politicians, is Law or not. - The People make the Law of the Land. Period. - Even Tax is an Act (Legislation) and NOT Law. This is why the government tries to keep you as far away from a Trial by Jury as possible; because if only 1 Jury member decides against the Legislation; then you are free. When you go to a Trial by Jury; it’s not only you in court but also the Legislation that you allegedly broke. The Jury will decide if the Legislation is Law for you in your particular circumstances. The government do not teach you the true difference between Legislation and Law, and instead try teach you that they are included in one another. Scam! They want to have you believe that Law is too complex for you to understand. It’s not. The people decide. Period. Common law is for the common Man. You don’t even need to be able to read. The government wants power, control and your money; and does not want the people to govern themselves. If you ever find yourself forced into those sneaky Magistrate’s courts, then repeat, literally, only 2 sentences: “I do not understand. Not everyone who has a problem with immigration certainly wouldn't be far right... On the other hand the far right councillors who were elected in Dublin had no problem in voting with the government whose policy these so called independents are against. The same far right had no problem in being photographed with Loyalist paramilitaries. Hypocrisy at it's best

The issue with those stigmatised as "Far RIght" is not that the public doesn't share their sentiments in many cases. They really have two issues: 1/ Image and quality of candidates - there are too many vocal loons and cranks. A candidate should have 'bank manager' vibes at the very minimum. He or she should seem measured, rational and honest. To a certain extent this is a vicous cycle for parties outside the boundaries of acceptable liberal piety: only people who are such outsiders already that they do not fear the social and professional approbium of 'coming out' as dissident Right will put themselves forward as candidates. 2/ The centre of Irish politcs is hollow and unprincipled and formed by focus-group consensus. All the successful parties have Venn-diagrams of policies that include that centre, whatever it is at any given time. Even the self described "Left Wing Parties" are all just avenues for the ambitions for the more fastidious amongst the professional middle class (vide the Soc Dems 'lavender liberals') carefully craft their image to include those centrist vibes and scoop up transfer votes. To succeed the dissident Right needs to have a core of policies that are acceptable to the centre, but with 100% more ethnocentrism, anti-immigration or whatever. For example, the Irish Freedom Party will never get elected while it continues to insist on Irexit as a policy, but if it reframed itself as Eurosceptic a la Geert WIlders, it would at least be in with a chance. Once they get over those hurdles there is no reason why there can't be an Irish version of AfD or Sweden Democrats. But this is a small society, and shunning the impious has always worked in the past, so who knows.

@joesoap393Күн бұрын
@terrygorry thanks for that, but I don't think it's ultra nationalism to want to retain the fabric and culture of one's nation. Just like the Palestinians deserve a nation of their own, so do the Irish, is that not the reason why we were at war with Britain for over 800years. But now we have a nation of nothing where any tom dick or Mohammed can rock up and give the red carpet treatment.

Thank you for another interesting and informative video. The people have spoken. They have concerns about housing and health, both directly related to immigration, a connection which has been scrupulously avoided by the media. I voted for local candidates from both the F. Parties. If had a choice to vote for a sensible alternative who suggested stemming immigration I would have. I do believe we should have a reasoned debate and an immigration referendum, which would be hard to word, which would include a population ceiling. I think this is unlikely to happen, because I believe if people were asked a direct question in the anomous ballot, stopping immigration would be carried by a large majority and for some reason our rulers dont want this. One way or another it would end this discussion and help to prevent the emergence of smooth talking opportunists like Nigel Farrage and President Trump.

Two things I noticed with regard to Far Right candidates during the election campaign. Their campaign literature concentrated on immigration and housing. This approach obviously worked for a certain amount of candidates in the local election, which is ironic given local government can do little about these. However, for the general election most parties had either pivoted on immigration and/or shored up their housing policy. When a manifesto has such a narrow focus those parties are easily outmanoeuvred and overwhelmed by parties with more fulsome and comprehensive offerings. Secondly when you probed them on social issues - abortion, divorce, LGBT rights ~ or just about liberal democracy in general they had little to say. Id never make claims for so called silent majorities, but we’ve seen the impact on personal and press freedoms in various now illiberal democracies, personally I’d hate to see Ireland swing back to the days of the valley of the squinting windows.
@richardshortall5987Күн бұрын
"Secondly when you probed them on social issues - abortion, divorce, LGBT rights" There could be a rational reason why there is 'nothing to say' about these 'issues': abortion and divorce are legal in Ireland and therefore no longer an issue and LGBT people have the same rights as everyone else. So what's to talk about?

The bigger parties have all shifted their own policies to the right significantly over the past 12 months. The EU is also shifting to the right. The "far right" have already won the argument. The right here is unorganized and have both quack candidates and decent candidates but all have no name recognition. Most have no other policies or experience for the rest of the issues facing Ireland (housing, health, foreign policy etc).
