After watching that match and giving some thought to i really think that Mike knew his role. As a former boxer being in that ring all be it decades ago, some instinct had to kick in. Literally nothing happened, i was watching and waiting for that moment. Im fully convinced this was scripted. JP is the one who has something to lose on the other hand Mike already set his legacy set he is will always be a legend so there was no jeopardy for him. It was a win win plus lots a cash so who wouldnt do it under those terms. Man just got the opportunity to make that amount of money at this stage of his life and didnt think twice.

Match fixing is very common in boxing and many other sports. This is how many fighters rise up the ranks and get a good record: their opponents are paid to lose. Why are we acting surprise. People did not pay to see two men kill each other. Most likely they paid because of the love and respect they have for both men....especially tyson. Tyson deserves a payday...as per the fans. If you really want to see tyson fight, watch his fights from the days when he was a real boxer.

come on woman, what a bogus load of crap, jake would have ended the fight? are you serious? Tyson could have knocked him the fuck out out in the first 2 rounds but according to the contract if he did he would have been financially penalized for doing so, not to mention the promoters would have most likely sued him for everything he had, think about the backlash every time Tyson has done that in the first 30 seconds of a fight? that fight was nothing but a staged exhibition match designed for maximum financial gain with a predetermined outcome to advance Jakes career, promote boxing and give Tyson one last gentle kiss in retirement, remove the politics and stipulations from the contract you would have seen Tyson finish the fight in the first half of the first round.

Cmon . Let's not kid ourselves. Everyone knew that this was just a money match . No titles on the line , nothing. But bragging rights. And deep down , Jake knew what he was getting into. Had he lost it would've hurt his credibility as a boxer and when he won. Nobody congratulated him. But, not many can claim to have beaten Tyson . Jake Paul is one of them ❤

Tyson looks pretty ill and looks like he had gone medical treatments recently for life threatening issues, may be he agreed to this match for money which is ok. Tyson is one of the greatest boxers of all times, but atleast he could have shown 1-2 minutes of real boxing. Mohammad Ali also had similar fight and it was difficult to watch.
