My Cleveland Cavaliers could’ve won in 2017 and the Houston Rockets could’ve won in 2018, but those never happened because Golden State decided to become a dominant, greedy, selfish, disrespectful, disobedient, troublemaking, stubborn, mean, spoiled, NBA-ruining team and win those two titles because of Durant’s decision to abandon poor Russell Westbrook and turn to the dark side by teaming up with Steph Curry and making sure LeBron didn’t win any more championships with Cleveland, and then they had to sign DeMarcus Cousins right after that?! The Warriors were doing way too much by making me lose my temper, making me go furiously ballistic by raging a lot, and almost making me kill myself in explosive anger over 200 times during that span, both at school and at home! For example, during Game 2 of the 2018 Finals, I had to go Krakatoa mode and spew out every single furious threat at Golden State because they wouldn’t stop dominating my Cavaliers and I almost killed myself in explosive anger after that game! I was so happy when the Raptors gave the Warriors their comeuppance in the 2019 NBA Finals!

The main issue is the Celtics run in the playoffs. After crawling over some teams that were completely crippled, they met a completely exhausted and unmotivated mavericks team in the finals. Apart from a complete trashing in game 4, which could have easily meant a turnaround, the Mavs went back to lazy defense and the Celtics hit some threes to win the finals. That is the whole finals run and even my short wrapup is more exciting than all the games they played. (except for that game 4, which should have been game 1 to make for an exciting series)

The season was pretty exciting to be honest. It was only the playoffs that were extremely lackluster. By far the best series were the Nuggets vs the Timberwolves and the Sixers vs Knicks series, though the entire Mavs run to the finals was a very nice surprise, even though it wasn't close in any series.

The in-season tournament needs better incentives. Getting extra money is cool and all, especially for the younger and vet minimum players, but it needs some significance in order for players and fans to take it seriously. Maybe the winner gets guaranteed home-court advantage if they make the playoffs? An automatic spot in the playoffs? Better odds in the draft lottery? (I like this one the most)

Celtics would’ve breezed through the east even if they were healthy. They steam rolled the entire nba all season. beat the cavs with Donavan Mitchell first game and the pacers with haliburton healthy game one. And then literally played with their food in the finals and let them win a game so that they could win the finals at home. Y’all just witnessed one of the greatest teams of all time. Appreciate it. And they’re not even a super team. Drafted JB and JT, who have been nothing but criticized the last few years. They added some role players. When the finals started they expected the mavs to win in 6 or 7 but Luka had no finals experience along with the mavs except Kyrie. Kyrie or Luka did not step up to be leaders. However many people did not expect low seed teams climbing towards the bracket such as the pacers and the mavs. The Timberwolves were a entertaining team to watch as well. Overall the season was good but I would say the playoffs was something suprising (except the celtics winning it which was expected).

Fr, there were a lot of great games, comebacks, buzzer beaters, and competitiveness in the regular season, though I can’t say the same as the playoffs.
