Sis the way you saved your wash and go is what I do do when I have a fail or if I want to refresh my hair without washing it! I'm an athlete and a college student so I do that because I'm always pressed for time! But I feel you about butters I dont use them bad boys unless I'm about to get some braids or twist be having my hair ULTRA MOISTURIZED OKAY LOL! Someone will definitely learn from this boo! Since we are talking about combos try the Tropical Moringa leave in, Mane Choice gelato and then clear wetline gel. (The Prickly Pear, 3 in 1, and Exotic cool Laid leave ins are also good ones too) Or you can try the same combo but with the bold buttery gel or the 24Karat gold gel. My go to is actually the Tropical Moringa leave in, the glaze and the Blue wetline over that i get 7 days and tons of definition and elongation. 💙😎💯😇👑💜👌🏽

Yeah I saw the butter and I was like no sis especially since it has no water in it. I see why it failed. I had a wash n go fail last weekend also. I did exactly what you did, I rinsed it out and just added more gel and it was fixed

Girl, I am currently wearing a failed wash n go in a low bun. When I say failed... I mean FAILED! and I also use a butter product with the clear WetLine gel. My wash n go was flat and stringy like. No frizz at all. I can't wait to wash this out.

Hi Kimberly, I tried Wetline while I was in Miami and learned that because it has glycerin, I had a lot of frizz and undefined curls. Sounds crazy right but I learned the hard way. So I searched for all Glycerin free products and now I don’t have that frizz problem no more. My curls are more defined now a days. The products I use a lot now that don’t have Glycerin are blueberry bliss leave in, the milk and the twist n shout. Camille rose milk and all there butters. For gels right now I’m using mane choice biotin and the curl maker. The only thing that’s annoying is that the mane choice is nice but it makes my scalp itchy. So I’m still on the hunt for a thick gel but so far these are the products that have helped me. Hope this helps you too ❤️

After putting all of that moisture on low porosity hair, I would definitely do a protein treatment, just so it isn't over moisturized. Otherwise it would be even harder for curls to define.

I love the Nourish and Shine butter. I use it under the Wetline gel but I always use it with a leave in and I only use a teeny bit of the Nourish and Shine. It is meant to be used sparingly and I don’t think it is intended to replace a leave in. Once I over used it and my hair was super greasy. But with just a little bit I feel it adds Shine and protects my hair from drying gels like Wetline. Also, I wanted to add that I noticed when I use too much butter or even too much leave in under my gel, it almost reduces my Wetline gel cast and creates more frizz. Just an observation. Your hair is beautiful nonetheless😍

Ok so I tried to do a twistout with Miche Beauty leavein and twisting cream. It smelled soooo good and was super moisturizing. I also used the oil. Twistouts are not my thang so I ended up adding water and Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic and Frienn, it saved the day. Bomb wash and go, lasted eight days, could have gone longer, but I needed to wash my hair. I was happy I found something in my stash to work well with the Miche Beauty products because nothing else worked that I had it would crumble up.i I loved it. Maybe it lasted because I twisted it first. Don’t know but it was bomb. Give it a try. Tip: I am not heavy handed. It did not take a lot of either product. The leavein is thick, the styling cream is thick, the oil, then more water and the Uncle Funky’s Curly Magic. I’m about to do it again, I love it.
